We are getting better and better to watch. This isn’t another false dawn though we do look a little shaky at the back sometimes, our attacks down the left look great.

We have come so far since the equivalent fixture last year. Delighted with the performance, resolute and marginally on top at Anfield. What’s better is that it doesn’t feel like a ‘one off’ like with Mou or LVG. Brilliant.

I would second this. Having a goalkeeper that comes and claims a cross can not only give the defence confidence, but can also relieve the pressure in the dying minutes of a game much more effectively than heading it back out of our box.

Think 80m would be steep for any of them , but I think a Rice - McTominey partnership would work well.

I think we have a good enough squad to challenge, with perhaps the addition of a quality right forward. I think the manager Needs support from experienced proven winner coaches. We have too little (Success) experience In our coaching staff ( despite achievements as players).

Would they be able to go with finishing the leagues now. Keep the positions and have 2 teams promoted (no playoffs) and no relegation. Cancel the league cup and play the extra league games in those slots. Next season 5 teams get relegated from the EPL.

For me, in answer to the original poster, Getting some momentum going. Win a few on the bounce, orchestrate his troops from the technical area. Take charge of his team. It just seems so limp at the moment unless we are playing one of the top teams.

Can’t speak for anyone but myself. I just want to see improvements in the quality of the football and entertainment (on the pitch). I want to see that We are improving and building. What I see is us going backwards. I get the idea of giving time to a manager to implement their strategies...

Is the plan to finish outside the Europa places so we don’t need as big squad and can get rid of more deadwood?
