Could have made me Onana's understudy for all the game time they've gotten, sure Id have managed against Newport. Club sold as they wanted a more experienced back up, we'll see a lot more of this going forward, as that's what City do. Endless...
Axel did go out on loan and got progressively worse and more injury prone. So not a great example to use. Harry was our 5th choice at the start of the season, he seems to have played a lot as well.
Maguires about 6 weeks older, is way more reliable to stay fit and will probably refuse to leave as he's on a good contract and believes he'll get game time. Would happily have both of them move on give more game time to big Willy, plus buying 2...
Guy needs a reality check. His actions didn't only affect the Manager, they affected the squad and the fans. Him 'considering a return' is a pish take, he hasn't played consistently well for years. Club shouldn't allow him back as it sends the...
Send Harrison out on loan to one of the other INEOS clubs, upon returning then he's understudy or replacement. The lad looks to have excellent potential, could well do a De Gea and be playing in the first team as a teenager.
I don't see Onana as...
I believe Mount, Mainoo & Casemiro should get a shot at playing in midfield together, think they'd compliment each other well. Bruno is so unreliable with ball retention and not helpful to the structure of the team.
What's the alternative? Probably a big difference in paying him out now or in the summer. Then there's the whole will it have any affect on the players who don't give want to work for the fans and their colleagues.
We could get Pep in and he'd...
Yep no intensity, defeat wasn't his fault, but could have thrown anyone else on and they'd have had more impact. Will probably be back in the team for pool, as injuries will mean it's him or no one.
Defeat from the jaws of victory. Soft penalty and fast asleep for that corner. Elite mentality just isn't in 90% of this squad. More injuries, might as well just promote youngsters as we've nothing left to play for.
