  1. Manchester United vs Sheffield United

He has flaws and he's probably not quite elite but he's a lot better than pretty much everyone else we have and would look better if he had better players and a better system around him. Particularly in the FA Cup he's largely dragged us through.
  2. Manchester United vs Sheffield United

Bruno has been carrying this team for a while, another terrific effort by him tonight. Delighted for Hojlund to get back amongst the goals, felt like needed it after the injury stopped his really promising run.
  3. Manchester United vs Sheffield United

We did at least have a fax machine but the fecking thing broke.
  4. Manchester United vs Sheffield United

We're home to one of the worst Premier League teams in recent years. It's good to see but I can't imagine a guy who probably doesn't have his email set up yet is telling the manager how to play.
  5. Amad Diallo | 2023/24 Performances

I'm not convinced he's quite good enough to make it here long term anyway but the lack of game time he's had given the continued underperformance of Antony (who hasn't been starting much but still getting plenty of minutes) and Rashford is a bit strange. He must be really shit in training...
  6. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

It's a quote from one of their main pundits, hence why it has quotation marks (admittedly the wrong ones) around it unlike all of their other headlines. It doesn't have the BBC agrees in the title, nor anywhere else, because neither the corporation nor any of their journalists have corroborated...
  7. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Erik ten Hag's reign as Manchester United manager is reaching the end and there is "no coming back", says former Premier League striker Chris Sutton. Literally the first line of the article, it's an opinion.
  8. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

We haven't even got a deal for Ashworth yet (it might be close to being done) and he probably won't join until after the summer, Berrada doesn't join until July and Wilcox joined last week and is covering Ashworth's role for now while we presumably will appoint a head of recruitment at some...
  9. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I think truly believing in the guy would be more mind boggling after this year.
  10. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

No but do you want a new manager coming in with no director of football, no head of recruitment and no CEO (until July)? Seems like setting someone up to fail (or at least a have shit start) might as well be the guy who has already failed and can be sacked off rather than a new guy.
  11. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

If the reason for keeping Ten Hag is that the options aren't appealing then it makes sense in a way but presumes that the list will be better next summer when I'm not sure there are that many good managers that that can be assumed. 2 years ago the list was basically Ten Hag and Pochettino for 6...
  12. Who are the "problem" players.

I don't believe many are problem players, there are likely a small number of dickheads but in any group of 20-30 people some of them are going to be dickheads. The reality is that they're just not good enough, we don't have a single player who would be an important player for a serious title...
  13. Who replaces Ten Hag?

You don't think he'd leave Mbappe, Bellingham and Vinicius amongst plenty of others to join a Conference League team whose star players are Portugal's back up right back and a 5 foot 9 centre back who is slow on the turn and can't stay fit?
  14. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I would like to retract this comment, it was true at the time but other events have occurred since that make me feel less warm to the manager.
  15. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Yep, for the most part they've played somewhat in to our hands but that was a much more controlled and confident first half than I expected.
