  1. Gabriel (Lille player)

Haha I didn't realise I had. Just rubbish at tech
  2. Gabriel (Lille player)

There's a trend of top clubs signing centre backs to able to switch to 3 when needed. It seems to be the in thing. Shaw did a reasonable job when asked this season but Magalhaes is a specialist and looks a good prospect, strong in the tackle and can play.
  3. Left full back 2020

Walker, Mendy, Zinchenko and Cancelo can all overlap and all play on the correct side. I rate Williams but he's a right back playing on the left.
  4. Left full back 2020

What we've seen in the last few games is teams working out how to play against United. They crowd the middle, knowing that the wide forwards and full backs cut inside a lot. It doesn't work against Liverpool because Robertson and Alexander-Arnold effectively become wingers when Liverpool attack...
  5. Most important summer window in years (100-150m budget)

Sancho is a must but a left back rather than a centre back is a necessity in my opinion. Williams is a right back. The trouble with playing him and Rashford on the left is they both cut inside and the attacks stall. A fast, left footed full back is needed, someone that can overlap and cross a...
  6. Harry Kane

He's still the best striker in England in my opinion. Injuries have hindered him recently and playing in a Spurs team which is in transition/decline hasn't helped, but he's a class act. He's been overplayed with England and Spurs and given adequate time to rest I think we will see the best of...
  7. Kai Havertz

He's the ideal replacement for Muller at Bayern. As good as he is, I don't see where he fits at United. If Bayern get Sane and Havertz in the next 2 summer windows they will be an even tougher proposition in the Champions League.
  8. Angel Gomes (United confirm departure)

Gomes needed a loan in the Championship to toughen up and develop physically. He didn't get it. Lamptey refused a contract at Chelsea to go and play at Brighton. Gomes needs to take a similar path. Marcus Edwards was a supremely talented kid and had to go to Portugal to play. These lads need...
  9. Which do we need more? DM or Back up creative midfielder

Sancho ticks so many boxes as he's not only capable on the right but also inside. He could easily play as an advanced central midfielder if he was needed to cover injuries. If Sancho is too expensive then Grealish offers similar but without the consistent end product. As far as right forwards...
  10. Jadon Sancho - Patience fellow muppets

That's an interesting take on Sancho. I watched him extensively for England at youth level before he went to Dortmund and he always stood out. You are correct that he isn't as fast as a Hudson-Odoi or as powerful as a Rooney at that age but what he has is world class ability in the final third...
  11. Declan Rice

I think he will end up at centre back. I'm not convinced he's a good enough footballer to be an elite holding midfielder. Stones for instance has far more ability on the ball. It's not out of the question that he could develop but for the money West Ham would want, it isn't worth the gamble.
  12. Jadon Sancho - Patience fellow muppets

Sancho is a potential game changer for United. He's capable of becoming a Salah, Mane, Sterling. Wide forwards have changed football and he's the best one I've seen at youth level. Him and Foden are the cream of England's golden generation. If he ends up at Chelsea they go up another level.
  13. Jude Bellingham | Confirmed Borussia Dortmund player

Dortmund have an advantage because it's a good league to develop in, although you've still got to be special to get a game with them. It isn't just United, the big PL clubs don't have the pull for youngsters they used to. Lots of young players are choosing easier leagues or mid level clubs to...
  14. Denis Zakaria

Watching Zakaria against Dortmund. He's playing centre back/sweeper.
  15. Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I've been watching Calvert-Lewin for years in the England youth teams and he's always been underappreciated. He's got a lot of good attributes. He's strong, good in the air, quick and he causes defenders problems. His technical ability and finishing isn't top level but he's improving all the...
