Liverpool have had a massive amount of fixtures compared to us. We should be able to sustain a good, high energy performance over 90 mins.

I can't understand why every match we're great for the first 20 mins and then, even if we score, we sit back and invite them on.

Thing is though, in the first few minutes of the match a ball was punted forward that Hojlund would have chased the hell out of and pressured the defence. This puts a marker down from the off – and we've seen him encourage others to press and, well, work harder. Rashford just watched it...

I remember when he and Lee Sharpe broke through at more or less the same time. I rated Sharpe more at that point, Giggs just seemed more erratic, whereas Sharpe was so clinical. Giggs lasted quite a bit longer at the top though of course. Great player.
