  1. Transfer Tweets - 2019/20 | Check the OP for blacklisted sources before posting

Fridge Chutney hasn't posted in a while. I'm dying to hear League 2 transfer updates. :/
  2. Summer 2019 Midfield Rebuild

Wonder if we’re tempted by James Rodriguez to play at number 10. There’s a really weird rhetoric that people only rate him because of that WC with Colombia - he was immense at Porto, Monaco and when he first got to Madrid. For around £45m he could be fantastic, imo. He’d add much needed goals...
  3. Are we going to play 4-2-2-2 next season?

Going off what we've seen so far (4 x 45 min halves with 4 different XIs) - it looks like we're setting up to play 4-2-3-1. Especially if we're bringing in a number 10 (Bruno). McTominay and Pogba should be a solid midfield base, I reckon.

Fekir for 30m is worth a punt surely?
  5. Best current world XI?

Wijnaldum in a world XI
  6. Why has nothing happened yet? | Things are now happening

Transfer window isn't even open yet. Yes, it would be nice if deals were announced - but the reality is it makes no difference as the players literally cannot sign yet. We've got one in - James - and I'm sure we're working very hard at adding more. I'm sure things are in the works in the...
  7. Best current world XI?

Ter Stegen Cancelo - Koulibaly - Van Dijk - Robertson Fernandinho De Jong - David Silva Messi - Ronaldo - Hazard
  8. Pogba Future

Look if he wants to leave, let him go. Incredible player on his day, unfortunately his day doesn’t come round often enough. You can maybe argue that the players around him aren’t on the same wavelength (Zlatan probably the best player he had a connection with) but overall, he’s been kind of...
  9. What’s the reasons for keeping Ole?

I can only assume we approached Pochettino and were turned down (for now). Ole at the time was winning games, there was a feel-good factor around the club, players were at their best, OT was bouncing every week (atmosphere was the best I’d enjoyed for ages for regular PL games) and fans loved...
  10. Current state of the world game?

I do feel that it’s a shame that classic number 10 players are a dying breed. Football seems to be played at a higher level of intensity as players seem to be fitter than ever before, and there is a huge emphasis on pressing - which means there’s no room to carry players who have genius and...
  11. Eden Hazard | Real Madrid Confirm the signing

You ever watched the geezer play football??? It’s a shame he’s leaving the Premier League, been a pleasure to watch from a neutral perspective. Always prefer for the best players to be in the Premier League (as long as they’re not at Liverpool - was more than happy to see Suarez leave).
  12. Toby Alderweireld

Wouldn’t mind signing him if we can’t get De Ligt or Koulibaly (can’t see this one happening). Frees up funds to attack other positions too.
  13. Why is our fanbase so toxic towards its players?

The notion that “players don’t give a toss” just because they get a haircut, or post on instagram is quite frankly absurd. I’d much rather they post on instagram, than go and get absolutely bladdered at the pub stuffing down a chinese on a weekly basis like our old guard did, who were model...
  14. Is Ramos the most overrated CB in history?

Ramos appears to be severely underrated by a lot on here. He is not an ‘average’ defender, nor is he Baresi/Maldini. He’s a centre half of the highest level (by today’s standards - which we can all accept is significantly lower than it was 15 years ago). He’s made a couple of big mistakes in...
  15. Thomas Meunier

Perhaps ‘flavour of the month’ was the wrong description - but the hype is a bit crazy atm. I was very impressed when I saw his performances, but I feel we need more attacking presence from RB though, all top teams have great weapons in full-back areas. Meunier and later Dalot (if he develops...
