  1. Aaron Wan-Bissaka | 2020/21 Performances

No it's because he had much less to do for Palace. If you always have a covering midfielder helping you and playing a deep block, it's a lot easier to defend. You have no room behind you to cover since the midfielder is marking the winger and the touchline is too close for a through ball. Why...
  2. Aaron Wan-Bissaka | 2020/21 Performances

He played one full season with Palace. He was also very protected by Palace's very deep defensive line and experienced defenders and solid goalkeeper behind him. Palace also provide a lot of defensive cover from their two holding midfielders. Anyone would look good for them - even Ward looks a...
  3. Anthony Martial | 2020/21 Performances

What did he do well exactly? He provided absolutely nothing and ruined multiple moves. Looked geriatric too, so so heavy. Like he was treading water.
  4. Bruno Fernandes | 2020/21 Performances

When was his last good game?
  5. Aaron Wan-Bissaka | 2020/21 Performances

"Best defensive full back in the world" Caught out positionally about 20 times in one game. He has one strength only: defending 1v1 on the wing where he is fully prepared. He is far below average at everything else.
  6. Which players would you allow to leave on a free to move them on?

Juan Mata - 8m saved Pereira - useless, no one would ever pay for this guy. we can't even loan him out. Jones - never gonna be fit again, at least for the PL De Gea - almost 20m a year in salary... unbelievable really. Henderson's better Romero - old, high wages Rojo - no explanation needed...
  7. Milan Škriniar

Sanchez is horrible. He can't pass, very poor technical ability and a huge liability because he always heads the ball to the opposition. His only strength is relatively good physical ability. There's a reason Mou has dropped him for Dier and now trying to get another CB in.
  8. Eric Bailly | 2020/21 Performances

The only reason people have this idea of Bailly as some sort of demi God defender who is great at intercepting, heading, dribbling, quickest ever, strong as Vidic Yada Yada is that he never plays. When he plays 2 or 3 games everyone will be throwing him under the bus for falling asleep 10 times...
  9. Is Jadon Sancho really worth the 100 plus million fee?

Haaland - better player, 45m Euro. Timo Werner - very similar ability - 45m. Gnabry was 8m, very similar ability. Do you think Sancho is literally 100m pounds better than Nkunku, who had a better xA/90? He is good. But 120m good? 120m would be the 3rd/4th most expensive transfer of ALL...
  10. Is Jadon Sancho really worth the 100 plus million fee?

Ask yourself this one question: Would Sancho cost 108-120m if he wasn't English? If the answer is no.... well.
  11. Let's get things in perspective (Post Palace and Luton)

This is a good point but I think it could be slightly expanded upon. It is not as simple as a good manager involved in transfers will yield favorable results, I think it has a lot to do with finding a manager with a very clear idea of how his teams should play, what player profiles he wants and...
  12. United and these crazy contracts

Of course when you compare to Leicester that is true, but it generally is not true if you compare it to Arsenal, Chelsea, City & Liverpool. There, our squad players make similar amounts (just look at the wages of players like Mustafi, Sokratis, Rudiger, Matip, Keita, Chamberlain, Cancelo etc)...
  13. United and these crazy contracts

But it's in large part due to what we pay our stars and starters. Lloris last year had a much better season than De Gea but literally makes 30% of DDG's salary. Alexis Sanchez made almost twice KDB's base salary. Rashford makes twice what Dele Alli gets. Of course we also keep our old 'stars'...
  14. United and these crazy contracts

This is all true and well and good but this is 2020, not 2004. Clubs like Leicester and Everton have back up and reserve players on 50 to 70k per week. Arsenal, Chelsea and City have many youth players on 50k per week and you simply can not sign or resign players on 30 to 40k per week anymore...
  15. Brighton & Hove Albion vs Manchester United

Pogba shouldn't start. Fred showed today why we play so much better with him and Matic behind Bruno. Pogba slows down the play and ruins our press sadly. Henderson should start too, he's shown he's deserved a chance. Henderson; AWB, Lindelöf, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, Matic, Bruno, Martial...
