Southgate would be an incredibly moronic appointment. I'd be terrified if the new regime is actually considering him. You can't keep saying we need the best in class just to feck up the most important appointment of all.
I'm excited about a potential new stadium, but the lack of clarity about the source of funding makes me worried. I don't think we can take on more debt, and I also doubt that the government would fund it either.
Nagelsmann is the only available manager with the right profile imo. It's not easy managing united, and he comes with the personality and the CV that warrant respect from the players. Potter would be a massive risk after his failure at Chelsea...
A loss to City shouldn't be the end of the world, but it's not just City is it? It's been a horrid season in terms of results and performances. He has failed miserably. It's just a case of now or at the end of the season, but he's done.
That's the part that bothers me the most. He's trying to push a false narrative instead of looking at his own performance. I don't think someone with that state of mind will ever be able to reach his full potential.
Don't think this helps him at all. I don't think he understands why a lot of people are upset with him. We understand his background, and nothing would make United fans happier than having him succeed. He comes across as lacking in self...
A bit of a stretch, but with Nagelsmann maybe, just maybe, he'd be up for starting his role now. Wouldn't be the first time a national team coach managed a club at the same time.
Exactly. I can live with dropping points here and there, but a good manager implements a style, and with the squad we have we should be able to do well against a lot of teams, but we almost never do, against any one.
