  1. English talent abroad 2018/2019

Nope. It's the board. Roman barely manages the club any longer, and the people on the board are not football people. We are looking at Pulisic, but the cynical side of me says it's only for commercial reasons and not so much footballing. One of the best prospects in years and we're looking to...
  2. Premier League Not So Festive Season

Definitely shakes things up this season with Liverpool leading. If they win the league, then credit to them.
  3. Premier League Not So Festive Season

Winter time always hurts the sides outside top 5/6. They don't generally have the quality off the bench, so fatigue sets in. Nevertheless, Spurs have played well.
  4. The "lazy black player" stereotype

I don't think there is a stereotype is there? Kante isn't called lazy because he's black. I do, however, think a lot of the subconscious discontent for Pogba comes from his flashiness outside of football, and the seeming desire to be in the spotlight, for e.g being photographed at celebrity...
  5. Spurs new stadium | Loses NFL for 2020 but gains appearance in Gangs of London £££

I know people wanted to mock Spurs for the stadium and just in general the past few seasons for not winning stuff, but kudos to the club's hierarchy for keeping their vision and putting the work in place for the club to make great forward momentum with a new stadium. I wish Chelsea was the same.
  6. Alisson Becker | Budding Target Man

I thought it was a risk for us to buy a young keeper like Kepa, but so far he's been really good for us. Not perfect, but very promising. Even though the fee was high for a keeper, we sold Courtois and bought Kepa, so really we didn't spend that much on Kepa. However, Alisson cost Liverpool a...
  7. PSG vs Man Utd | Build-up Thread | Return leg Wednesday 06.03

Honestly, wouldn't be surprised if this genuinely is Man City's year. The elite clubs, i.e Bayern, Real, Barcelona are in a weird stage where they aren't as good as they were two/three years ago, but are still capable and experienced of going far in the competition and winning the thing. We won...
  8. Chelsea vs Manchester United

Here's a preview video from the best Chelsea channel out there and the man NiNiFC alongside Utd fan Flex. I thought I would share this here: Look forward to the game on Saturday, and let the best team win.
  9. England national team

I don't understand why Henderson and Dier are still first team players.
  10. Liverpool 2018/19

It's way too early to write Liverpool off. A couple poor games (by their standards) doesn't mean much. Sometimes a team doesn't play well. Teams can't play well every week. I am wondering whether the pressure of expectations this season by the media/fans etc is somewhat getting to them though...
  11. Spurs officially departed tonight

I think Spurs did well considering they had next to no creativity in that midfield. Kane was battling for everything himself, running ragged. I thought their pressing was good. Again though, it's the magic of Messi which was the difference maker tonight.
  12. Chelsea 2018/19 - 3rd and European Champions. Sarri, not sorry

Well Roman may not be our owner for much longer considering there's talk of the American guy wanting to buy us.
  13. Chelsea 2018/19 - 3rd and European Champions. Sarri, not sorry

Rudiger is fantastic. We paid £34 million for him and imo he's been a bargain. He fits Sarri's system perfectly. Luiz is also a brilliant player. Luiz isn't amazing defensively, but he (and also Rudiger) are like having extra playmakers with the balls they can play over the top to the forwards.
  14. Premier League Gameweek 7 fixtures (29th September - 1st October 2018)

Thank god we don't have a clinical striker otherwise we would be a problem. What Sarri has done in 6 weeks is incredible considering he said a week ago that we are 1 year behind Liverpool. The players have taken to the style incredibly quickly. Also, missing Pedro was big, we needed his movement...
  15. Premier League Gameweek 7 fixtures (29th September - 1st October 2018)

Luiz is such an elegant player. Lovely to watch at the back. He isn't perfect defensively, but when he's on, he is a pleasure to behold.
