I feel van der sar has been relatively underrated by some here. Sure he was not as extravagant like DDG or Schmike but to me he was the main cog when we start to win again from the year 2005 onwards. After the shambles we had with the likes of carroll, howard and barthez, he was perfect for us.

Willian would be a dream signing. A workhorse and technically sound too. Definitely will solve the rw conundrum for sure.

Ronny Johnsen comes to mind, was a good defender but a bit of an injury prone.

Tierney is a good player imo. Always committed and gave 100%, plus he is already captained celtic and scotland if im not mistaken. If SAF was still in charge he would have love this type of signing. Sandro is good but Tierney has the potential.

He was far far better than the likes of Darmian or other dross we have now. Sheasy embodied what every player should be. He might not have been the most talented or skillful but he made it up with grit and professionalism.

Well seeing both Ben Davies and Robertson performing so well at their respective clubs is pretty damning tbh. Knew we would struggle to replace Pat but this has gone too long. Cut the lose and sell him.
