One of my unpopular opinions is that the Ronaldo hattrick is very overrated. A good keeper would have saved the first goal easily and been in a better position for the third. I think Barthez got permanently dropped the very next game and replaced by Andy Carrol.

Keylor Navas is the best option. He's a proven winner and a safe pair of hands. He will also be cheap and allow us to focus on other positions. He's not much older than when Van Der Sar joined us.

Why don't we sell De Gea and bring in Keylor Navas? He's much more serviceable and probably easy to pick up on the cheap.

Needs to be dropped and released on a free. Do you really trust him when back is against the wall in a tough away game? No. He's at his best making a wonder save from a counter, when we are dominating, anything else he is past it.

De Gea and Sancho NEED to be dropped. You really have to set a standard and show it's unacceptable. Butland can just play a basic game and be better.
