In my opinion first choice would need to be a central midfield player. (I agree Leftback99) The player I have watched that I think would have the most influence would be Bryan Robson. Charlton would have to be up at the top as would Best and Law, but it's too long ago and I haven't seen them...

It's great he is back, played very well in the last two games. We look so much more solid on his side of the pitch. When we get Shaw back that will help a lot at the other side.

A consistent style of football. I'd like to watch us go head to head with the best teams and compete; and at times look the better side. I'd like to see us start to dominate the weaker teams; to be clearly the better side when we play most weeks.

I just watched his post match interview. He owned his mistake and took full responsibility. I like him; let's give him a chance.
