  1. Steven Gerrard | Al-Ettifaq Manager

This is what Vieira did and he looks the most surefooted manager of the lot. I don't know if it's arrogance or delusion or what. The media also blows smoke up their arses at every turn.
  2. Steven Gerrard | Al-Ettifaq Manager

Don't laugh, this was the average positions today:
  3. Steven Gerrard | Al-Ettifaq Manager

Yeah he's surprised me during his time at Villa. He'd even turned down some Championship clubs stating that he wasn't ready. Now he's some coaching consultant at Chelsea, whatever that is.
  4. Steven Gerrard | Al-Ettifaq Manager

I think Terry for 3 years under Smith is the only one I can think of. He's still biding his time and hasn't jumped at the first club to bat their eyelids at him.
  5. Steven Gerrard | Al-Ettifaq Manager

Purslow will give his mate plenty of rope and drag this out until it's completely untenable, by which point it'd probably be too late for Poch.
  6. Steven Gerrard | Al-Ettifaq Manager

It's worse actually. He's no better than Tactics Tim at this point. Literally no positives to take from these games. The players looks like they are procedurally generated before each match and have never met.
  7. Jack Grealish | Man City

Gotta hold my hands up on this one @Red Star One , had a mare here :D.
  8. Jacob Ramsey

Agreed 100%. Ramsey will be a good PL midfielder for years to come simply because he seems to have the physical traits. If you thought it was hard to stop him barreling through the midfield at 20, imagine him at 25. That engine and his baseline excellent technique should be enough to last him...
  9. Jacob Ramsey

I think he's the bigger "talent" so to speak, but he still has a ways to go before he reaches Ramsey's level of application. Granted, he has 2 years to get there! He plays very similar to Pogba in that he has exquisite technique and vision, but needs to operate further up the field. He isn't a...
  10. Aston Villa 2021-22

Don't worry, the media (for example: Gary Lineker) have taken up the mantle
  11. Aston Villa 2021-22

I'd very happily take Rafa off there hands if that's the case to be honest. Especially after reading some of the names swirling around. Gerrard? Lampard? FFS.
  12. Tyrone Mings

Dodgy backpass against Chelsea aside, he's been very good this season and in the summer at the Euros. I'm glad he has this stigma over him to be honest as it means we won't have the big teams circling us for his signature every summer.
  13. Manchester United vs Aston Villa

Thanks, I was thinking it felt a lot closer than 3-1, but I automatically assume you always score at least 3 against us
  14. Manchester United vs Aston Villa

Will be a good game. Think this will probably finish 3-1 like the same fixture last season, and that was a cracker too.
  15. Aston Villa 2021-22

He's been superb. Have to agree with @FootballHQ , I think it's been a masterstroke from Smith in terms of bringing him through. Carefully chosen minutes and starts throughout last season, and while he didn't really impress me, he was holding his own and getting used to the speed of the top...
