He said the same when he was interviewed for a feature on Odense' s website a couple of years ago.
When he signed for Aalesund he said that he'd slept in a "tango-shirt" every night since he was 5, his room was covered in Helge Nøstdahl posters and each summer he'd slave in his uncle's scorching isenkram for up to 20 hours a day, just so he could afford his annual pilgrimage to Kråmyra.

Just watching highlights of his reserve debut. We won 8 nil so he didn't have much to do but I like the cut of his jib. Tends to hold onto shots when he can and very quick to release the ball. Also looks like a bit of a gobby twat. Which is a good thing.

No idea how he is at kicking the ball or dealing with crosses.

Bollocks, I missed that. Are the extended highlights uploaded anywhere? Will they be shown on MUTV again soon (if so when)?

WOW, namedropping my old teacher and legend Helge Nøstdahl, impressing:lol:

Kråmyra was something special...

The stadium's record attendance was recorded in 2003, when 9,667 spectators watched the match vs Molde FK. It was quite a nerve wracking experience to clinch hold on to the few straws of gras hoping that you wouldn't kill yourself celebrating a goal

Anders' American dream

Anders Lindegaard can’t wait to rejoin his team-mates for Manchester United’s pre-season tour to the USA.

The Reds will jet off on 11 July for a three-week stint, taking in games in Boston, Seattle, Chicago, New Jersey and Washington DC as part of Tour 2011. And Lindegaard, who only signed for the Reds in January so hasn’t been involved in a United tour yet, jokes he may not return.

“I’m really looking forward to it,” he told ManUtd.com. “New York City is the coolest city I’ve visited in my life and I can’t wait to get back there. I spent a week there and I could have spent a lifetime. They have something like 20,000 restaurants… that fact alone blows my mind!”

Of course, there’ll be much more to Anders’ American visit than sightseeing. He’s well aware of the importance of pre-season training and, he says, the opportunity the tour will give him to stake a claim for the no.1 shirt.

“In the USA it’s going to be especially important for the goalkeepers to play well because Edwin’s retired and the rest of us are fighting for that jersey.

“I know it’s going to be a lot of hard work but I’m looking forward to it very much. I’ve been to Florida twice for training camps with other sides but we didn’t play many games in America – certainly not big ones in sell-out stadiums. That’s going to be a great experience.

I guess he will be our No.1 for US Tour, with PIG future uncertain and if/when we sign De Gea i think he'll be given a rest after U21 championships.
Looking forward to seeing him.

Someone who isn't tipsy and tired should translate this.

He's basically saying he's not worried about de Gea's arrival, he'll fight for his place and he's excited to start the new season. That's based on a google translate.

Oh, you translated it into cliches, well done. The quotes are a funny. He says everyone knew United would sign a keeper, and people who think the signing of De Gea has something to do with Lindegaard's performances are "hypocritical and ignorant". He also speaks of himself in third person.
