I remember when he scored it. I lost it. I completely lost it. The missus thought I was having a heart attack. I didn't know what to do with myself

Truly spectacular

And thinking that there was more or less consensus among the fans (and here especially) to let him go some months ago. ;)

I remember cursing and moaning to get him off the pitch just before that goal as I thought nothing he did came off. And then he does something like that. :D

Great goal, it was on Saturday 12:45 BST, I remember that I was watching it while my parents were talking about something nearby and I started screaming like crazy. Plus Polish commentary, probbaly one of the best pieces of commentary I've heard from a Pole

Magnificent goal and if I remember rightly was very timely as City were getting on top, that goal seemed to knock the stuffing out of them. That was the game that Mike Summerbee won The Most Bitterest Bitter Blue award for his post match comments.:lol:

 Stewart Gardener had to stifle a few fecks there...I was in the pub and me and a few lads were screaming that much a few tourists shat themselves and left the pub was funny as feck

I couldn't stop screaming. This really high pitched noise I wasn't aware I was capable of came out. It's a bit like when you really laugh and this uncontrollable noise comes out.

I remember initially jumping up, celebrating and screaming but then having a "Did that actually just happen?" moment of clarity, before quickly continuing the celebrations.

We spent the rest of the game repeatedly uttering superlatives, with the odd "I can't believe he did that!" thrown in.

Great, great goal. Brilliant memories.

I'm not aware of his post match comments. What did Summerbee say?
