Yes, noticed this as well. And I felt he was rash for 1st goal tonight and arguably should have saved the 2 after it.We're only two games in but De Gea seems to be playing a bit differently already. Seems rooted to his line. There have been a few occasions where he could have easily come and collected the ball, but he chooses not to, often resulting in a defender hoofing it out for a throw.

Really? His distribution has gotten even better (didn't think it was possibly) and he is constantly improving on crosses/corners. I think he's improved overall since last season, I don't think its fair to judge him on 3 games with absolute shite in front of him that do not know how to defend in a 3 at the back system.

His distribution has indeed improved and was good today, too. But his concentration and general performance have been below the level he usually performs at. Hope he finally has a settled defence ahead of him. You have to feel for him when even someone like Evans makes schoolboy errors.

You know when your defence is so fecking shit, as bad as ours, then it really has a huge impact on the keeper.His confidence looks shattered, but does anybody blame him? I certainly don't.
