It'd have been totally worth it, but we've been undone by these assholes above.
I actually thought he was fairly poor by Carrick's standards. It's surely more to do with the quality of Scweinsteiger though, he was always going to get in the team.
He had some preseason rust, making quite a few bad passes which are very easy by his own standards.Newcastle look very average. I think Wijnaldum is a good player though.
