DiMarzio reporting that Zlatan told Raiola he wants to end his career at Napoli.

When he speaks, Mino Raiola is never trivial. This time it does to Radio CRC, speaking of his client Zlatan Ibrahimovic and contacts with Napoli : "When presidents speak with me they know that everything remains between us. We chose the United recently, it was our goal, why we are where we needed to be. I can only say that the invitation to bid farewell to football Ciro Ferrara at the San Paolo, Zlatan called me and said: 'Mino, I want to end my career at Napoli', because the mentality of the Neapolitans is very close to her. If the Premier had remained what was surely there could end his career. "

I can see him going there in two years. Which isn't really surprising as everyone expected him to be here two year tops.

Erm, forgot to mention the part where he said something along the lines of Serie A not being what it was and "they" are where they need to be (Utd).

I seem to recall Zlatan's relationship with Juve's management did not end well as he basically forced them to sell him to Inter on the cheap. That could be the reason he wants to retire at Napoli, as they detest Juve due to the aristocracy vs the people/north vs south dynamic.

What's so special about Napoli?
Why Napoli?
To begin with, Napoli isn't like any other eurpean city. Maradona said he felt like home because it was just like being in Argentina. People are just nuts. They will start walking out in the street without even looking. Drivers can park their car in the middle of the road while they go grab an espresso. Traffic lights are totally ignored. If you go on the highway and take off on a one way road - FULLY expect to meet someone coming towards you. The vespas are like ants. If you come there with a car that "is a stranger" you need to park in a looked area or it's gone in the morning.

This is what Zlatan also like because he want to believe he's from a tough neighborhood in sweden. He wants to identify with Maradona and the napoleon people.

Naples is a wierd City. I've been there a number of times and my mother used to live there. It's hated by Northern Italy, who consider the far south almost a different country (mafia land). One street can be incredibly friendly, the next.....you can't walk down. That being said it's incredibly beautiful and I can see why zlatan would want to retire in that part of the world.

Facking brilliant

They're food obsessed, you'll be sitting down for lunch and the topic of conversation is what we're gonna have for dinner. Always amused me that, we're not through lunch yet!
