We will win the league with Klopp, whether it is this season or not, we've shown great improvements so far this season even if we did mess up today.
The delusion is strong with this one. He obviously doesn't realize that there are other teams challenging

Season's starting to go a little bit wrong isn't it.
Yup, this is what an Arsenal fan must go through year after year
It's been so long that they've forgotten that since Liverpool last won the league, Arsenal won the league! 18 years ago!!

My math isn't shite. I put 18 years deliberately

Barring Coutinho and Mane (who arent elite anyway), their whole squad is composed of average players, not just the ones they think are average.
It's amazing they haven't collapsed defensively more than they have this season. Lovren is so inconsistent and Klavan is just a guy. Matip is pretty good, but he really shouldn't be the best CB on a top 4 team, and then you've got underperforming keepers (Karius might come good in time, but obviously hasn't been great and Mignolet is who he is, classic Howard/Foster midtable keeper who often does great and terrible things and isn't great with his feet or at crosses), James Milner at LB and the DM is Henderson, who has played well but is hardly Makelele out there.

Klopp's pressing minimizes their defending. He's a very good manager, and in some ways it's easier to see them winning a title than a side like Spurs because while it's sort of tough to see Spurs improving easily, you could see how Liverpool could sign a midfielder, CB, LB and keeper for 25-30M at each spot and make clear upgrades, if they can spend wisely like they did with Firmino and Mane. They don't need Chicharito diamonds in the rough or Pogba style massive buys to improve (though obviously that would help). Some reasonable, efficient moves could really improve them next season.

I'm just saying I've never seen a keeper in my life who has as many 'he can't do anything about that one' balls go past him- have you?

That is one of the problems that you will always have when you give up as many high quality chances as we do.
Even the goals they give up are of a different level of quality.

It's in the DNA of this club to turn up to these games like they've already won them. Every year it happens when things are going well and we get yanked down to planet Earth. It's not a surprise anymore, you just hope that we've got past it. But we haven't and I doubt we ever will. I don't know what else we can do to overcome it.

Aaaaand we're off!

So this season is turning pretty ugly, didn't see this happening so dramatically.
It's like Klopp never took over from Rodgers...Did we all collectively imagine the first few months of the season?
Yeah Chelsea are gonna give us a whooping. Feck me we're so out of form. Honestly can't see us getting top 4 at this rate.

It's Baconface's fault they didn't get 6 penalties, Gill never wanted them to win, Mourinho's bumming the ref etc etc etc.

Tbf, the amount of griping about oppo goalies having worldies against us and teams stepping up while rolling over for Chelsea, Spurs etc...is at least on a par.

Some tremendous undercover Manc work here

Can't agree with people slating Can for his performance, thought he was pretty good and easily our best midfielder tonight.
