It can only get better in the second half because he's been very poor so far.

Come on Kid! We need a 2nd here.

Needs to learn how to hold the ball up and give his team a break.

If this was Martial he would have been massacred and ordered to go play on the left from now on by redcafe.

I've noticed when Rashford looks like he's having a bit of a sulk and kinda knows he's the main man, his mindset isn't quite there.

That being said, these hoof tactics don't suit his game at all..

Not his fault, our play and set-up is woeful, so much isolation, midfielders and wingers offering nothing. Hope a two striker system next year.
Even with time on the ball he was naff.

He needs to drop a bit I think. Nowhere near the ball at the moment.

I really hope we don't plan on going into next season with Rashford as the leading striker.

Hopefully he improves in the 2nd half.

You can have all the time in the world but when the others dont make runs, drag out players to create space, offer an option, the guy isnt Messi, he wont out dribble a whole defence.
He has been naff. He has played better matches with the same tactics going on. Sometimes far better.

He hasn't turned up today. Not sure whether the occasion has got to him or what, but he's done nothing.

We need to sign 1-2 goalscorers in the summer.

Rashford is going to be a great player for us, but he is nowhere near ready to be the main striker yet.

It's funny with striker types.

You have your target man type who everyone moans is fairly immobile, and we need pace and movement.
Then you have games like this where you wish you had a target man who could hold it.

Rashford hasn't had much of a chance today. Not sure what people think he could do with balls falling 30metres away from him.

But certainly shouldn't be the main striker next season, but he won't be.

Needs to slow it down a bit. He's got bags of pace, but sometimes all it takes is just to drop it back and make a run. It's all part of learning the game.

There's something in this for him tonight.

The worst performance of his career so far (up to 69th min). :(

He's not been great but his constant threat in behind has kept their back four honest and has allowed the rest of the team to get out at times.

19, 1st European final, up front alone. All things considered, he did well!

His worst performance in a United shirt even with little support. Maybe the terrorist attack in Manchester had an effect.....still the experience of playing and winning another major final will stand him in good stead for the future. I'm just chuffed that we have him.

Just been watching Old Trafford Uncovered on BT and Jose had such positive words to say about Rashford, his talent and his mentality. He's going to be a key player for Jose in the years to come.

The lone striker role is the drizzling shits for him, it doesn't play to his strengths at all. The most we could ask of him tonight was to keep making runs and try to make something out of nothing, and he ran tirlessly.

It didn't come off for him tonight but he worked hard and pressed well as you'd expect. Thankfully our support stepped up and supplied the goals otherwise it would've been a really frustrating night for him. He should look forward to a nice break and come back ready to go up a level or two next season.

He looked a bit slow today but I think he's picked up a knock and strained his groin early on. He didn't seem to want to open up his legs fully.

Can't blame him entirely for this performance though he didn't have much to work with in terms of quality balls forward.
