Did anyone else see the great Pele on the news tonight??

He was talkin about THE match tomorrow and about the england team and he said that so far the player of the tournament has been Nicky Butt!!

High praise indeed!!

I for one hope he keeps up the level of performance tomorrow and doesn't let rivaldo get a kick.

If you're referring to when he went down clutching his face, Campbell clearly caught him in the face with his hand as they were jumping.

He made a meal of it though but that's nothing new....

did anyone watch that program on tv last week on pele, great player but what a dirty barsteward ,great with his head he head butted two players in one game punched and kicked others now we only see the nice side I HATE BRAZIL THERE TO GOOD :mad:

I remember after Ireland drew with Holland away, that Pele said that Ireland has some great players - like Keane and Kilbane! Cracked me up it did!
Beckenbauer is the man to listen to if anybody, IMO.
