Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather | Again?

It will happen. It looks bad on Mayweather because he looks like a pussy for basically making them do Boxing rules again but it looks worse on the UFC for allowing one fighter to change their entire rules.

Also, no elbows? Floyd has never been able to not throw elbows in a Boxing match so he's expected to not throw here?

I thought Mayweather-McGregor would happen two years ago and predicted as much and I think part 2 is sure to happen. I think it will happen and most likely this year. The cynic in me thinks Mayweather is rushing it because he's seeing how big GGG-Canelo 2 will become because of the drug test fiasco and Joshua-Wilder. He hates not being the focus.
Wouldn’t be so sure of that. GGG just won’t bring enough to the table promoting that with his voice. Mayweather mcgregor 2 should be boycotted by at least half of those who ordered the first fight on principle alone, but we both know it’ll end up doing better numbers than the first. Every dollar people spend lapping this shit up there’s rooms full of people about to get rich just laughing at them.

I’d rather see the next instalment of this than watch the two fight again

If the money is right, it'll happen regardless of the rules.

I'd jump into the ring with McGregor full UFC rules for 10k nevermind 100m.

If it gets made I'll be streaming this one; just like when they last fought. Want to see it; but its a farce.

I cannot begin to express heights of my disinterest in that boring, talentless, overcooked thug and his idiotic non-sport. The arrogance and hubris to think he can cross over to boxing and beat any decent fighter is beyond pathetic. It may also be dangerous for his own well-being, despite the purse that might be offered.

What gets me the most about that whole Bus situation is that mcgregor can do something like that, pay $50,000 bail and then whatever the fine is, but he’ll make more off doing interviews and exclusives/social media releases. So backwards.

Are you referring to MMA as an idiotic non-sport?

Say these two ever 'face off' against each other again, how many people who paid for the first fight would do so again for this one?

Did Floyd actually carry Conor enough that the paying audience actually believe what they saw was legit?

Very curious about how much this could make for both men after the sham that was the first bout.

I didn't pay for the first fight but if this was a genuine MMA bout then I would happily pay to see Mayweather get mauled in the Octagon. The thought of him getting repeatedly elbowed in the face warms my heart.

Unfortunately Mayweather isn't stupid enough to agree to anything that fun.

Didn't watch the first fight (until after the 5th or 6th round) wouldn't watch this one unless it was straight MMA rules just to see Mayweather get brutalized but I'm sure there'd be another gentleman's agreement to mean that it goes the full distance and that Conor carries him.

Looked a bit more into this nonsense, this boxing fight in a cage bollicks was reported by a Omar Al Raisi of Danani Sports Network. He made a bold statement "@FloydMayweather will fight @TheNotoriousMMA in the octagon. With 4 ounce gloves, no shoes, 5-five minute rounds in 155 division. No kicks, no take downs, no elbows, no knees. Certain things will be allowed like the clinch.", but the next day changed his tune to "nothing is approved or signed” and that the fight modified rules bout was “something that has been discussed.” I'm sure all kinds of things are being discussed by various fighters, but report it as such ie discussions or informal talks, no need to report it tabloid style. There's 3 legit fighters who genuinely can beat each other on any given day, let's sort the LW division out first and put these freak show "fights" on the backburner for now.
