Does a club owner or chief executive phone the manager and say “Play Darmian in this match tonight, we’re trying to sell him this summer.”
Genuine question. Does the manager think “I will play Luke Shaw tonight and if he’s good, we’ll get an extra few million for him.”
It all seems a little far fetched to me.
