I think it’s going to be difficult to put a sheep draft with Billy no mates rule

I can run a test auction draft if anyone is interested. We had a T20 one ages ago which was carnage and fun.

ODI Auction Draft Sign up List

  1. Crappy
  2. ..

Some high level Rules (to be updated when game starts) -
  • Only players that have played a minimum of 60 ODIs are eligible.
  • A total of 300m as budget to buy 11 players.
  • A maximum of 6 players from either old school era (players who made their ODI debut before 01/01/2000) or new school era (players who made their ODI debut on or after 01/01/2000) can be in the starting line up.
  • Maximum of 3 players from a single nationality can be in the starting lineup.
  • A rolling nominating board will be part of auction to give visibility of which players will go on board next.

In as an AM. And shouldn't it be 300m for 12 players?

Out of this one. Too time consuming - I've got 272 posts in the other thread

I've boycotted drafts ever since my team filled with some of the best T20 players got hammered in a T20 draft by an ODI team (several of them barely played any T20 games before retiring). People just don't watch cricket.

T20s are tough to judge in drafts in that regard. ODIs are easiest IMO

Last ODI draft I played was bullshit. Me & @Norris ' draft baby failed to win the ICC draft with this :

1. Amla
2. Sharma
3. De Silva
4. AB De Villiers
5. Clive Lloyd
6. Glenn Maxwell
7. Kapil Dev
8. Mitchell Starc
9. Shane Bond
10. Trent Boult
11. Muttiah Muralitharan

Retrospectively following the 2019 CWC Sharma, Starc & Boult thankfully sharted on everyone who voted against us. I guess it was ahead of its time :(
