So SRH, CSK, RR and KKR then.

RR looks the weakest undoubtedly. Their batting is a bit shit with Buttler not in and the bowling is very spin dependant with Unadkat bowling 120k leg spins. KKR for me remains the best choice. Lynn is coming into his own, whereas teams still don't know that they should start with a pace bowler to Narine. KKR's middle order is fantastic.

Btw, how good has Kane Williamson been? The best overseas batsmen in this season.
We were quite fecked when Warner was made ineligible.. But Kane has saved our asses!! I didn't expect him to have the strike rate he has now.

Yeah agreed with all of the above. Buttler (and to a lesser extent Stokes) leaving the RR, will hurt them badly, as they were probably already the "weaker" of the 4 sides. Lynn has hit a good patch of form and the KKR's middle order has been chipping in as well.

Going to be tough to call it. I'd probably still back the CSK. Btw - was Watson rested in the last match or has he had to go back home? Because he'd be a massive loss to them.

Williamson's been fantastic indeed. So, so consistent for them. I was surprised no one picked up Guptill either.

I've not seen so much as a scorecard from this years IPL.

Would be interested to hear views as to which players have been the 'stars'.

Yeah, that winning mentality. Hard as nails. I always thought we deserved to top the table, 2nd was a false position in itself.:D

Only weak link in our team is Harbhajan. Needs to be binned. Every other player has contributed.

Immense innings by Faf.

What a game. Rashid and Ngidi have both been immense with the ball throughout the tournament (Ngidi a bit less, as he's played less iirc)

CSK vs SRH!

4th time lucky? :nervous:
Difficult chase with SRH's bowling strength.

We had a slow start but Watson's bedding in. No doubt our run rate will become slower when Rashid Khan comes in to bowl as we won't be able to hit boundaries much. But if Watson remains not out until the 15th over, we stand a chance.

We have been absolutely dominant this season. So much credit to our batting, by far the best in the league. Not to mention so many different players coming through in crunch situations. Fully deserve the win.

Csk are a special side, a brand like no other franchise. Deserving winners.

Brilliantly run, brilliantly supported.

Helps that India cements - for all of n Srinivasan's fault - run CSK. They massively fund the different cricket clubs across divisions here, so this is nothing new to them to run a cricket club.
