We have to buy a new one regardless of what happens to England in the world cup, for Young to look good our left wingers/attackers are sacrificing a lot. We'd be far better off with an actual LB.

On a serious note Shaw is Hench. Look at the size of his shoulders. Crazy that what 2 weeks ago this thread was all in a tizzy with the experts talking about how fat he was and he’d clearly given up and all that garbage. Hope he can just stay injury free.

Shaw will stay I think, it looks like we're having a job getting rid of Blind and Darmian never mind trying to get of Shaw who we'll want a handsome fee for due to English tax.
He’s a very good player. if he can stay injury free and motivated he’ll be like a new signing for us. I think a lot depends on how Jose manages him this year.
That video above, the players all look relaxed and happy. I doubt the majority could care less what the fans or even the manager thinks of them when it comes down to it. I want to see some actual hunger and passion for the club to get it back to where it belongs this year however it happens. Enough of the nice guy soundbytes and we will keep going routine. Let’s actually achieve something or at least go down fighting to
the death. The truth is this squad has been coasting on our past reputation (and being paid the same as champions/world class players) for years. it’s time to get our ruthless streak back and get a title challenge together. any player who’s not down with that can feck off to another club! I really hope Shaw can be one of those players who step up. We really need a left foot at LB to free up space in the middle.

Read somewhere that we was casually benching 100kg at around 18. The guy is a tank and hardly gets bullied off the ball but his fitness is a major issue. The way we play also doesn't help.
