Martial better than watford but he needs to stick to basics. Too many missed passes.

    Dalot looking good.

    Fred still struggling to fit.

I'd like to see Lukaku's distance covered tonight... From what I've seen he's barely moved all evening. Can't say I'm surprised Rashford, Martial and Pogba seem to have nothing to aim at or nothing dragging their markers away (albeit the former twp haven't been good themselves).

Fred gets caught on the ball a ridiculous amount of times. I thought it was the pace of the PL but again tonight.
Not a good sign when you consider the quality of the opposition tonight.

Martial jinks forward and is pulled down by Aebischer. Shooting chance from 30 yards. Rashford lines it up and it's straight at the wall.

Much more like it from Martial this half, quick decisive movements.

Martial has really turned it on this second half, really good to see that his head hasn't completely gone and I hope Jose lets him build on this.

When we practice free kicks and corners in training, do we deliberately aim to smash it at the oppositions shins?

    Every bloody time

Might as well, but I'm not and that's the big difference. I still believe players need more than a half or even a game to grow within a team, and Martial has had anything but that since he performed last season up until January. Instead of putting a probably declining Sanchez on the left, stick him on the right and let Martial & Rashford be on the left.
You're conflating two points. It's clear you're a massive fan of Martials, so you're happy to judge him differently to others. Either players need more than a half before you start abusing them or you don't. Because you don't like them as much isn't an acceptable qualifier.

It’s shocking how little creativity this team has considering the money spent.

    Goal for Manchester United

    Anthony Martial
And there is the beautifully executed counter attack goal.

Pogba receives the ball in acres of space on the half-way line and drives forward. He waits for the right moment then picks out Martial on the left of the box who fires it in via a deflection off Camara.

He deserves that Martial. He's having a good second-half.

That should be the three points in the bag.

I'd sell Rashford tomorrow. He's not progressed in 3 seasons. Still gets the basics wrong.

Martial, Rashford and Lukaku play like they have never met each other. I think the problem is they all want to score more than they want to play another team-mate in. So they don't even make runs for each other. They need to watch videos of Yorke and Cole in their pomp.

Rashford for all his pace never seems to be able to beat his man easily. It's always a struggle.
