Has Lukaku had a shot yet?

For Everton he got a hat-trick against these in 2015.

Martial has goal threat. That's why he should play. His all around game might need improvement but he's guaranteed to get into a goal scoring position at least once every game and we need goals. Sanchez isn't scoring enough for the minutes he is given.

    Young Boys supporters are great.

Lukaku thinks he's scored but it's offside. A good ball in from Dalot is put in by Lukaku's toe but he was well off.

Good debut from Dalot. Great to have another, younger option at right-back, it's long overdue.

It was a stroll in the end for us, a comfortable 3:0 victory to open our Champions League Group H campaign. It wasn't all that comfortable for the first 30 minutes or so as Young Boys had a real go at us. You could see what a big night it was for them but despite showing some threat on the break they lacked the quality to really hurt us.

Once Pogba smashed in a lovely opening goal after 36 minutes we were always in control. He second goal minutes later from the spot took the wind out of Young Boys and Martial put some polish on the result with a third goal in the second-half.

Young Boys are undoubtedly the weakest side in this group so it was crucial we got the three points today. You would expect the other teams in the group to also beat them.

Harder tests await, with a home game against Valencia on 2 October.

That's three away wins on the spin by the way.

Young Boys 0:1 Man Utd - Pogba (36')

Young Boys 0:2 Man Utd - Pogba (43' pen)

Young Boys 0:3 Man Utd - Martial (65')

Good win but I hate that when we can quiet easily kick on and put a team to the sword that we just let the game fizzle out.

Would of been nice to see us get 5 or 6.

Fellaini is making a case to be an instant pick, something I didn't expect to be saying this year. Makes a real impact in that DM role, much more active than Matic, let Herrera, Matic and Fred fight it out until we find the best balance.

I like what I am seeing, the team seems to have more balance with Fred doing a lot of running and connecting in the midfield.
Shaw seems like a much better player and starting to show his expectations and Pogba's first goal was real class.
A good alround team effort and for once I really enjoyed the football.

We played on the weekend and we've another game this coming weekend, with this return trip to Switzerland sandwiched between. Absolutely no need to go busting a gut and risking injury and fatigue to chase vanity goals to pad a scoreline when we're running out 3-0 winners and barely breaking a sweat in the process

You need to see a doctor if you really believe that shit!
Why? Because to some people here having high regards towards our manager an players is a sin? Because it doesn’t fit the doom and gloom/we are shite narrative?

Mourinho is a great managed, and Martial is one of the best talents in Europe. Below M’Bappe (as everyone else) but above Dembele, Asensio and Rashford... But he plays for United then he must be shit #facepalm

Good win, can see a lot of our tactics are bedding in and also no injuries so a big plus there.

If we can put in a positive performance against wolves then it'll be a nice little run

Nervy first 30 minutes, then we were basically strolling. Martial gets a goal, Pogba a double, Fred got better as game went on, Shaw with a good return, another clean sheet, Dalot with impressive debut, CB partnership gets another game under their belt.

All in all really good game for us, with the exceptions of Rashford once again showing he's not good enough to be a winger, the wooden playground board Lukaku who can't keep a ball to save his life and Mata being his usual weak and wasteful self.

Anyone catching Sourness on Virgin Media Sport? Bitter is no longer an adequate word to describe that farce of a man.
