Hope he really gets some time in a natural position. If not, best wishes for him at an other club. He really needs to think about himself and leave then. He got held on a string long enough.

Pretty sure he will find a spot at a decent Premier League or la Liga club to really start his career.

He's not a central midfielder for sure, maybe a luxurious 10 player but he doesn't have the positional sense to succeed in the Hererra role. Either wide attacker or bust.

This lad has to be one of the most overrated United youngster I have ever seen in my life. Like seriously, our fans were treating him like the second coming of Ineista for some decent passes or some thing.

Chip him off for a relegation fodder in PL.

Incredibly stupid and naive. We were better off playing Fellaini.

I didn't expect him to stand out but doing the basics right is bare minimum for a midfielder, that too at Manchester United. He's just so timid on the pitch. The exact opposite of Herrera. The feckup to the goal was unfortunate as it could very well have ended our chances of top 4 but yeah, he's had multiple auditions at this club and just isn't anywhere good enough.

If we were to sell a midfielder he would be first on my list, even ahead of Fellaini.

What is he supposed to be good at? He kept trying that long raking Scholes pass, but failed nearly every time. He looks piss weak as well.

I'd rather we played McTominay if we had to play either of them.

Not my cup of tea at all.

Looks barely PL quality and genuinely wouldn't be surprised if he was in the Championship a season from now. Then again, he might get murdered in that league given his lack of fight we seen tonight.

I thought first half he was OK, but doing a cruyff turn on the edge of the box when you’re as strong and quick as a 30 year old mata? Ridiculous.

he’s not solely to blame tonight but that was a big error to make. Not sure many fans will get over that in a hurry.

He won't play for us again. He's had a few chances this season and looked nowhere near the standard in any of them. Time to stop talking about the player we wish he was and actually be honest in our assessment. He's fecking shite.

Don't think he's a midfielder really, certainly not at our level. Thanks for dropping us 2 points Andreas.

He must have something about him to be even getting a game. Does he just suffer with stage fright? I saw 15mins here and 10mins there of him playing for Valencia and he looked alright.

Lot of snap reactions here. Horrible error obviously but other than that he was ok today, and you don't make decisions on footballers based on one mistake when they're 23.

Really dissapointing. He gifted them a goal. he should've also been much higher up the pitch so we could pin them down on the right but didn't want to move any higher than Matic. Strange

Poor today. Finally played in the position I thought he'd be best for us in and still didn't impress. Doesn't impose himself enough, which is annoying as talent-wise, I rate him highly. Didn't see it properly, but did he slip for the goal he gave away? If so, I find it hard to slate him for it, but if not, it's shambolic from him.

Had a real chance to make it here and threw it away to go on loan last season. He had no business being in the side tonight and cost us heavily. I'd hope it was putting him in the shop window, assuming it'd be an easier result, and he's on the way out.

That is UNBELIEVABLY dreadful. Those stats say one thing - out of his depth

Not defending Pereira but Jones should not have played that pass to him, you could see 3 players waiting to converge on him.

I had hopes for the lad but doesn't appear he has the mettle for the top level.

Has done absolutely nothing in a United shirt bar a free kick in the League Cup a few years ago and 2 good games at the start of the season. Should be behind McTominay in the pecking order.

Don't know what would be the excuse this time round as he actually played with first-team players. Rude awakening he's Cleverley MK2 but with less assurance on the ball. Nothing against the guy and hope he will learn from tonight after he fecked us over but having sweet looks and unEnglish name doesn't really make you a gem.

His movement is close to abysmal. And he doesn't put much of a shift in either to compensate.

Bit of a coward as well.

It is not the first time i have seen him get caught out like that in possession. Its a schoolboy error. If you have to just lump it to their end do, but you cannot get caught in possession like that. Yes at their end you can because it is not dangerous.

He looked nervous as well throughout. Was second to the ball on occasions.

Strikes me as player that kills it in training but then the pressure gets to him in front of 70,000 fans. You cannot risk him away from home at all. as well.

Dont think he will make it.

And 23 years old. He is no longer even "young" by modern standards.

This.
He had his chance tonight and did not seem to want do anything with it.
He did not take any risks when on the ball.
He was weak bordering to scared in the duel-play, Burnleys midfield ate him up.
Shit happens, so I am not going to blame him for that Gerrard-slip too much. But again; looked scared and weak when put under some pressure.
He did not look like he wanted it tonight, and that is not an United-player.

Nah it's really not. He's looked really ordinary (at best) nearly every time he's played for us.

Can you make them based on his overall averageness every time he plays?
