Would be interesting to see what lineup we start with considering the promotions to u23 last night.

We've got the team sheet but not the actual line up.

The team kinda picks itself although with Greenwood gone our striker options suddenly look very thin, the team'll look more balanced once Mellor's back but still a very good team on paper. Think the team will likely be:

Thompson
Puigmal - Mengi - Bejger - Devine
McGhee - Traore - Galbraith
Ramazani - Elanga - McCann

Wasn't Puigmal bought as a midfielder?
Yeah, apparently he played RB for Espanyol/Spain at times. He's never really convinced me there though.

Can’t watch the match today but I think it was 0-0 at half time.

Shocking defending from Mengi for the first goal. Breathtaking. And it's not the first time. Thompson for the second goal as well.

I thought Beijger did OK and I like Devine. Up front, well, both Ramazani and Elanga are second string players who need a Greenwood. I don't see them as match winners and it proved so today. It's not going to be a great spring for the U18s, still can't defend and no Greenwood, Garner etc who is bailing them out.

No Greenwood, Garner, Levitt, Williams, no party. Understandable.

Feel that the new midfield needs time to gel. McCann, McGhee and Galbraith were too disjointed today and passing is generally poor.
