I'm trying to find out information but can't seem to find anywhere but I live quite close to Carrington and I have heard that you can just rock up to the gate and they'll let you in to watch home matches for the under 18s. Can anyone confirm this is the case please?

I wondered about this too. I'll definitely go to a few if we can just turn up like that.

As far as I know from other people, yes just rock up to the gate and say you're there for the u18s game and they'll let you in to the area where the game is. Obviously don't try snoop around Carrington or I imagine you'll be kicked out.

tightened up on Security this season, if you don't have a season academy pass you need to get a wrist band, i'm not sure if you just rock up or you have to pre-book.

Did anyone find a definitive answer for this? Thinking of rocking up one day with my lad, but don't want him to be disappointed.

I rang the club and the guy I spoke to couldn't find anything specific so reckoned to just rock up on the day but like you I don't want to be disappointed. I haven't managed to go yet and the next fixture is the derby which I imagine will be popular so maybe not the ideal test run. I don't think I'll be able to go to that since I have a ticket for the Palace game and can't really do both - if you do get down for that game, let me know how it goes.

Finally got around to visiting Carrington today thanks to my lad's own match being called off. Can confirm you simply rock up at the gate and, after signing a simple form, they give you a spectator pass if you haven't already got one. The facilities are great and we had a good experience despite the result. Handy tip - don't rely on your sat nav to get you to the 'Aon Training Complex' - mine took me to the back exits, for which there is no access to the general public. Using the post code M31 4BH took me right to the main gate.

Great stuff - good to know. Shame about the result. Will have to try and get down for the Liverpool game on the 9th Feb then!
