Hey folks I don’t know if anyone has broached this topic before but I thought a cool idea would be to have a ‘United Alumni’ forum where we could have threads with players, similar to the player performance forum.

We could update with news items, interviews, tribute videos etc.

I was going to ask this in the "Ask admin a question" thread but it's closed, and this is kinda similar so I'll ask here. Is there a thread to post interviews from past players rather than creating a stand alone thread for it?

Cleverley's just done an interview with United and I thought it was a good read with some good insight from the 12/13 season especially, but I dunno if it's worth starting a thread for as I don't think it'll provide a big discussion - it's just a good read.

We do have a sub-section of the forum dedicated to drafts. So, we can imagine a sub-forum dedicated to former United players/managers: a section more focused on history.

I support the idea

Down with megathreads. Just create a new thread please. If it's worthy of discussion, people will post in it. If the interview is buried in some massive thread then it's more likely to be missed.

I'm not convinced about the original question. Is there really enough ongoing content about United Alumni to justify a whole separate forum? I'm thinking the United forum is still fine for this.

If a forum isn't going to be active with new threads/posts on a daily basis, its existence isn't justified.
