Going to struggle for goals then. Hazard will leave for Madrid and I doubt Pulisic can fill his game-changing shoes, good though he may be.
Yes Hazard will probably go and others will have to step up. We also have Abraham and others who maybe could step up along with Pulisic coming in. Even if we could sign players pretty much impossible to replace Higuain or Hazard, Real Madrid, Barcelona and other are all in the market for central striker and not many good ones around these days.

I've pretty much already realised we won't be competing with City for the league or the CL for the time being. At least until if / when we change owner. Best bet we have is getting a counter attacking manager in and winning the cups and the Europa.

Higuain aint offering much though, so won't be much of a loss.

If the transfer ban comes in can they still sign higuain as he's already there on loan?... Might end up being the only option (especially if hazard giroud and Hudson odi keep pushing for moves)

He looks and plays like those 45 year old legends who have really let themselves go having a run out in a charity match.

I like Higuain, disappointing performance vs 'Pool lately, but still, he is an excellent player

Ex player. At milan i thought he wasn't motivated and the move to chelsea would have seen him get back to his level, but it seems he just doesn't care anymore. Ready for a fat paycheck in China

His goal production decreased 33% year after year. It was no fluke it was a legitimate trend .

The fact leonardo was able to pull off the miracle of sending him to chelsea, thus piatek in, basically got us back into the Champions League (so long as we dont blow it)

Finally a competent SD at milan.

Well, we can't just blame him... He had a great season in Juve

What are Juve going to do with him next season?
He’ll be at Chelsea after you guys complete the signing of the summer in a £50m deal. Best hope you’s get Huddersfield in the cup as it’s his best chance of a goal.

There was a slight chance Higuain would come in and bang in the goals for us. But he just looks way past his best, like he did at Milan

It's typical of us and our shitty transfer strategy that we went after Higuain because he's "proven" instead of signing Piatek. He's looking like an absolute bargain right now, 30-35 million quid and has 10 goals in 15 games for Milan and at 23 will only improve

Congrats to Marina and the board for yet another awful transfer decision.

Beautiful goal vs Napoli, Romario would be proud of that

Had an awful season last year, failed with both Milan and Chelsea. Yet in preseason and the first two games he's looked fantastic and so far he's making a good partnership with Ronaldo (and Costa). Maybe it's just a false dawn but it seems like he's not as close to retirement as people thought.

I'm in quite a minority but I don't even think he was that bad for us.

In a highline his lack of pace was an issue but when facing deep blocks i found his movement to be a huge help to our attack.

It was probably a non starter the minute Sarri walked out but personally I would have extended his loan unless there was any attitude issues.

Thread title needs changing.

Higuain and Ronaldo did link up quite well and score a lot of goals together at Madrid. If they click in the CL campaign, it might be just what Juve need.

Scored the winner away against Inter, third goal of the season already. Seems like he’s well and truly back. His movement and intelligence is remarkable and his finishing has been on point too.
