Obviously, there are a lot of gaps in our squad and issues overall but one thing I think we miss since the Fergie era is a match winner. Other top teams have a player they can lean on when they are playing poorly and someone that can create something out of nothing, or score a goal when needed. We have not had that in some time and really need one!
When we signed Sanchez, I thought he might be that player as he’d do it for ARsenal at times but it hasn’t happened. I believe Arsenal have the same issue at this point and having a player of that mould can help you get some points throughout a season and push you up the table!
