(Controversial) Are calm or ranting managers more successful?

I dunno. It seems like for the modern game, you need a bullying manager to squeeze effort from millionaire footballers. Someone who screams at you the whole game from the sidelines rather than observe you quietly. When you are paid so well, it is easy to seek comfort in your material possessions if you lose. I want there to be a worry that a manager will be there chewing your ass out.

Recent success stories are Pep, Klopp and Conte. Jose and Van Gaal were already too mellow by the time we hired them. Even if they were more fiery in their younger days. Jose's passive-aggressive deployment of sarcasm and criticism of players in the press was clearly ineffective.

I am really worried that Ole is too nice a guy for our current teamt and maybe we should have appointed Conte instead after Mourinho. Conte would have been an ideal candidate to clear all the deadwood and coasters from the team and start over.
