Reckon McMillan would have scored those runs. They were already scoring at a brisk pace near the end.

Perhaps nostalgia is making me remember them fondly. Though in the knockout stages SA didn't lose that many matches. Think they lost only against NZ and England.
Yeah he would've, infact he was finding boundary per over, imo McMillan along with Richardson would have won them that match if rain have never interrupted.

No Roy for England against Australia, big loss there as Vince will deputise.

I am glad the likes of Sachin and other ex players criticizing Dhoni's innings against Afghan. That innings was plain awful. Will go on to say one of the worst innings by Dhoni.

Yes and that is why it was good to hear. Not rotating the strike was absolute bs the other day. We were bailed out by our bowlers but that cannot be repeated again or else we will lose a crucial match.

Can't see Australia getting anything from this game. Think they've only won 1 of the last 10 vs England.

It's good to see the Aussies continually shuffling their support bowlers, it's a good sign when your opponents are chopping and changing. That said I don't like seeing Lyon, he may be rusty but he's better at this level than Zampa at the moment.

It would really be something if England come into their home tournament as the number one team in the world and don’t qualify for the semis. I’m here for the anarchy  Come on you Aussie cnuts

Yeah I think England would have gone to town on Zampa, they struggled with Lyon in the warm up if I recall.

VAR could learn a bit from this. Football needs review systems.

Good start for Australia
Really good platform, spin will be key, going to need wickets from Rashid

It's a good start from both teams but England are unlucky to still be empty-handed. I agree Rashid and Moeen's form could be key when they come on.

This is a big test for us. Not a getting a wicket when we we've bowled well is a little unlucky but so what, if we start feeling sorry for ourselves we'll lose. Need to stay positive and do the right things.

Sorely-needed, thunderbolt from Stokesy. We now need Smith cheaply or Finch very soon. Get Maxwell swinging at something then you're into their lower-middle order.
