Glazer stole the club's money and left United with bankruptcy, Liverpool suffered from chronic delusion after haven't won the title for 50 years, Watford is 15 times consecutive PL winners, City became poor after Electric car made Petroleum obsolete and Chelsea suffered from consecutive transfer bans for 20 years.
No. Love United more than I dislike any other team. Also football is made that much better with rivalries. Leeds have been down the leagues for ages that there's probably loads of United fans who don't even know they're rivals. Its become devalued basically. Liverpool and United are the 2 biggest British clubs historically, would just be weird if we didn't have that fixture anymore.
In the Brazilian League it became normal to see big teams relegated. Arguably there are a dozen of big teams so you can imagine it's not that hard.
I've seen the two biggest rivals of my team being relegated, and, though bemusing at first, I guarantee it's much better to see your team doing well.
I think it's a sign of how hopeless some fans are if they have to make up fantasies about our bitter rivals, who happen to be current UCL winners, to be relegated...
