Not sure if this warrants a new thread, but the new Strip! exhibition at the National Football Museum in Manchester features a football shirts Hall of Shame. It features six shirts as prominent examples of the worst kinds of crimes against kit.

In no particular order, they are:

Coventry City 'Big T' shirt, 1981
Celtic 'Moss' away 1991
Fiorentina 'Swastika' away 1992
Manchester United 'Invisible' away 1995
Iceland Women away 2002 (actually a cast-off XXL men's shirt supplied to the women's team by their FA)
Cardiff City 'Red Dragon' home 2012
Liverpool 'Tribal Tattoo' third 2012

Those Jorge Campos keeper kits, I actually owned one of those (sort of) when I was a youngster and a GK, around 13/14 I was I think. I used to love them and my folks somehow heard of a company that replicated them upon request! It was horrific looking back but I thought I looked the dogs!

The Celtic have had a few howlers.
Namely. The bumblebee.

And the papa.
I actually always loved the Celtic bumblebee kit/s.. That second one though. sweet jesus thats bad!

I do remember a few seasons back Liverpool had a brutal one that looked pretty much like a wetsuit of some sort.

United have had a few. that snakeskin/beige away shirt we currently have is awful. And although a training shirt, that leopard skin one United had last season was shocking!

I'm supposed to be meeting the designer of that kit next week. Got to keep my mouth shut about my feelings though!

The worst bit of that second shirt is the overall downward trend emblazoned on the front

What are you saying, because you're making think of that bloody and brutal civil war they had where lots of people were hacked to death with machetes and how those red marks look a bit like streaks of blood.

Might just be me and my warped mind though.

I didn't notice the sleeve sponsor, then, blurgh!

That can't be real, can it?! There's gotta be a committee or something!

If MS Office '95 was an away kit, this would be it. Looks like someone went a bit mental with a power point.

Personally I was thinking of the infamous United grey away kit from the 90s, but when googling it comes across as a real beauty compared to some of the ones posted in this thread. Had a friend he had it back then, just thought it was horrendous and wondered how on earth he spent like £50 on that when he could have gotten the standard home kit.

Mine when I was playing as a kid, Sky Blue!!! Enough said, I put a big iron imprint in it as well
I bought a Serbia top with Vidic on a while back and it arrived with a crease through the middle, which I proceeded to iron. Big mistake. Shirt immediately ruined. I could've cried.

Geez... that looks like one of those poor quality shirts we tend to see on flea markets :D

That Miami kit is nice. Would be even nicer if they went full Stade Francais pink and blue.

It’s quality! Very Miami looking and I think it’s cool when teams kits embrace their identity.

Arsenal one is a massive own goal though. I can’t see how no one saw the potential blood/connection to Rwanda.

Home or away? I like both of them.

It's funny that there's so much crossover between worst shirts ever and best shirts ever, because the USA one is often in both. You can even vote for it in the national football museum's poll:

The blue denim stars version. It's hideous to me. They should have kept the shirt worn from 92 all the way up to before the 94 WC, like in the Copa America below (2nd spoiler). But in true American fashion statement loud voices style they went with some nonsense look, like something you'd see in the indoor leagues or some random bloke walking around sight-seeing in Europe with his loud "I'm from America!" look. It's the denim blue for me. They might as well trolled out blue denim shorts as well.

I've since scrolled this thread to find there are certainly worse shirts produced. But USA 94 is terrible.
