Greetings everyone.

I am a long time United fan from sweden and I like to follow the ladies team as close as I can now as well.

My question, why are there no interviews/quotes from Stoney or the players on manutd.com ever?

The manutd.com site usually post a picture gallery from each game and have a recap, but no quotes from the manager or the players. Why?

I was expecting to have the same coverage for the ladies team on the site (but just way less quantity) - especially as team is doing so well.

I would appreciate l if anyone can shed light on this!

I apologize if this was not the place to ask this, but could not find any other thread that was ideal to ask this question.

Thank you kindly in advance!
After every game (ones shown on MUTV) there are interviews of usually Casey and one of the players. Some of best bits of interviews also uploaded to twitter usually together with highlights videos.

Pics of the game posted on Official Manchester United App™. I guess to encourage fans to download.

And after every game, they put a summary of the game on the website. Maybe that's it on the website. Everything done via social media now. Line up via twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Oh you can also view matchday pics at Facebook.

Oh and during games there are Instagram stories, behind the scenes, warm up etc...

Probably the first appearance of men's and women's players in one ad? I love this.

Do you think Pogba realise he is sitting next to the greatest midfield goal scoring weapon in the Manchester United ranks? I bet you Mata knows everything about them and the woman’s game.

Pretty sure there are.

I find it hard to navigate the site now though after the recent changes with all the lags and error but still can be found sometimes, so maybe you couldn't find it.

But for sure the interviews/quotes from the United Women team managers and players are all there.

I suggest rely mostly on their official twitter account and United Youtube account.
They gave many enough exposure to the interviews and direct links to the manutd.com site.

Have fun!

Thank you. I want to point out here that the message I posted was written about 6 months ago. At that time there had been no quotes whatsoever from United players or the manager on the manutd.com website on their match reports etc.

The article you are now linking to is from 5 months later when manutd.com suddenly when the teams promotion was sealed immediately started providing more in depth material on the website. Which I welcome very much, I am definitely happy about the increased coverage.

I just wanted to stress that the situation was different 6 months ago, when I made my initial post. Since then the coverage have become better gradually and hopefully by next season the ladies will have nearly as much features and coverage as the mens team. That would be fantastic!

Surely exciting times ahead for the ladies and I feel blessed to be able to be witness it :-)

Cheers.

Oh right sorry, I blame @Rifer ;)

Great first season for the Girls, it'll be interesting to see how they cope next season with the step up in quality.

Casey Stoney, Mollie Green, Jess Sigsworth and Millie Turner are in China for Kohler United.

A fantastic experience here in China. Thank you kohlerunited for inviting us to be part of this special event #runforclarity @ Hangzhou, China
