Can Ole seriously rebuild United without leaders?

Yes I forgot Paul much as he is to blame for giving his agent the green light to start destabilizing. If Paul will come completely on board - and he may very well - he could rediscover his joy in playing and be part of a winning team and culture again. He is a world-class player and essential with his head in the right space.

While everybody was losing their head last season over the last two games, what struck out to me was not a player failing to try, Paul was a player trying to get something out of nothing. He was trying to drive the team forward with whatever they had left. It was ridiculous how much he was criticised. It reminded me of Rooney. Circa 2009-2012.

I think if we can get the team moving, you will see a different Pogba.

Keane was abjectly bad as a manager/leader wherever he's been. His last outing as assistant for the ROI was bad.
Ole isn't just a leader he is a fan. A true great, not a nearly man like Keane. Keane never acored a goal in a champions league final. he didn't even play in one. He scored embarrassing own goals and saw his own arse before leaving.
Ole will walk under his own steam if we don't get the players, and he will not sign a confidentiality clause -he will spread the muck on the Glazers if he doesn't get what he was promised. Remember-Ole is a Norwegian-they don't need money, they've got it all.
He would do that for us. Keane will take cash for slagging the team but he wont slag the Glazers because of the off-chance he gets to feather his bed with more united cash. I see no one is blaming Keano for the Sanchez situation!
Ole is a faith healer as well as a leader. He will do us right one way or another.
From your post you probably watched few United games with Roy Keane in them or confused him with somebody else. Keano is a true Manchester United Great. Yes, he didn't score a goal in a Champions League Final because he was suspended and the suspension was not over loss of control - his yellow cards were symptomatic of the refereeing in Europe and he wasn't careful enough.

Instead his performances in the key matches that got United to the Final were legendary, he willed United on giving everything and more, scored one magnificent goal in particular. His own goal in that disappointing campaign the season after was down to poor positioning by defenders who were not in place so Keano had to cover. Own goals have been scored by some of the best, just part of the game.

I never thought Keano would ever make it to Manchester United manager because he is too one dimensional in his handling of players. His lack of success and difficulties in some cases with his teams as a manager show us that. Ole has the emotional intelligence that is needed, the ridiculous notion of some Ole naysayers on the caf that somehow he is not a managerial leader is nonsense.

Ole is no Sir Alex giving the hairdryer and no Roy Keane focused on effort - and that's just fine. His handling of the pressure and media so far, public statements about the players, etc, are what is needed now. He knows the club inside out, is a United legend and appears to be a man comfortable with himself and confident enough to handle what has been and will be thrown at him.

If anybody thinks Harry Maguire signed on without being hugely influenced by Ole as manager, they're wrong.

Maguire is a leader and shows it.

AWB is a leader but in a more quieter sense in terms of letting his play do the talk - very similar to De Gea.

James has tons of charisma and reminds me of Chicharito in a way.

...they all have some sort of leadership characteristics and I applaud Ole for getting these types of players. They will begin to lay the foundation of what he wants on the field & off.
