Add Dybala to the list, no longer on the table.

Mr LevySincerely hope this becomes the most ridiculed thread in the history of redcafe. Hoping that Mr Levy does a lot of business today.
If true, the moaners on here this morning commending Spurs' incredible endeavour to sign three amazing players on deadline day deserve a temporary tagline akin to the old "City Lover".Tweet

As opposed to willing them on to sign players so folks can get hysterical about Ed/The Glazers/Ole/Brexit FC and so on?Celebrating Spurs not signing a player. I’ve hit a new low.
You worry about tying up Dybala mate. There’s a few posters on here who talk out of their backside. I apologise on their behalf for starting this shit stirring thread. I’d be happy if we sign no one. We have enough talented players to help bridge the gap of Lukaku’s goal record. Most of us are just happy the big lump with a tackle for a touch is on his way out. You seen Mason Greenwood play football? I mean he’s no Harry Kane but the boy can play. You don't think so? You are about to sell your only guaranteed regular goal scorer - you have not bolstered your midfield which is badly short of quality. Maguire, AWB look like they will do well - the winger kid might be good - but if I was a Utd fan I would not be feeling confident.
I’m certainly not doing that. I’m pretty miserable but not fecking hysterical. As opposed to willing them on to sign players so folks can get hysterical about Ed/The Glazers/Ole/Brexit FC and so on?
This. CL finalists last year and playing in it this year. They are the ones laughing. Are we really in a position to be laughing at anyone else...
I've seen this on the Arsenal reddit too. Pathetic desperate times.Celebrating Spurs not signing a player. I’ve hit a new low.

I can’t. It’s clear to see, whilst we have Glazers in charge we’ll continue to operate like amateurs. That’s what makes me unhappy. Those cnuts are giving Ole an impossible task. When it’s all hits the fan they’ll throw Ole under the bus, promise us a DoF, Warchest and anything else you can think of — and fans will again lap it up and be happy. Rinse and repeat.Don't worry. Be happy.
Sky Sports said:After talks between Pablo Dybala and Philippe Coutinho broke down Spurs are now considering adding a brand new International Cheese Room and a Duty Free to the new stadium; Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in a bid to attract bigger stars to the club. (Sky Sauces)
I see it different. Folks would be buzzing their tits off on here if we'd signed Dybala and all would be rosy in CAF sentiment. Dybala is a player that doesn't want to play in the Premier League, doesn't want to play for us, has a questionable mentality anyway and that would cost crazy money to sign. This window just highlights that it’s more of the same from the club.
I have never heard anything bad about Dybala’s mentality. Him not wanting to play for us is questionable. I mean Evra alluded to it by commenting on Instagram. No one knows what’s in Dybala’s mind except that he didn’t want to leave Juve — which is fine. Robbed, Sneijder and plenty more player were pushed out by their clubs and then carved out fantastic careers elsewhere. What I find infuriating is that Dybala was seemingly an opportunistic attempt as we didn’t move on to other targets.I see it different. I think Ole's plan to sign motivated players only is the right one and pulling out of the Dybala deal was 100% correct.
There's the perception that he's weak willed and can be physically bullied out of the game or disappear if things aren't going his way.I have never heard anything bad about Dybala’s mentality. Fair enough. But apart from last season he’s been one the best players for Juve so it’s hard to gauge for me personally. There's the perception that he's weak willed and can be physically bullied out of the game or disappear if things aren't going his way.
I'm happy with the new approach, giving the youngsters a chance. I believe we some really talented young players on the verge of the first team. Throwing big money at mercenaries isn't the path we should take and for me, Dybala fits right in that category.Fair enough. This will surely pass through.Tweet

I hope you’re right in regards to youngsters. I’d gladly have Chong, Gomes and Greenwood over any signings but it’s such a gamble, especially when we’re coming off a terrible season.I'm happy with the new approach, giving the youngsters a chance. Which ones?I get that this is tongue-in-cheek, but to be honest, the list of players turning down 'the biggest club in the world' these days is becoming far more of an embarrassment.
No toys, no daddyYou lot used to love spuds. What changed?
I reckon he's in the top 20 already.Talk about hyperbole there. Ndombele is nowhere near there yet
Abz?
The potential is there but there is still a lot of football to be played.I reckon he's in the top 20 already.
