Obviously I could just look it up, but I genuinely couldn't remember the three clubs that got relegated just 3 months ago.

Have i just mentally wiped out the abomination of last season, or the clubs that went down were so irrelevant that it didn't matter in the grand scheme of things?

I usually have no idea who got promoted until I actually look at the table. Right now I couldn't tell you. Apparently Norwich is one of them. I remember Leeds and Villa being up there near the top the few times I had checked it but I'm almost sure Leeds didn't get promoted.

I remember Cardiff and Huddersfield well because they were our last 2 games and I thought it was a guaranteed 6 points to get us top 4, they were relegated how could we not beat them!?

That turned out well.

Huddersfield was one of the PL's worst ever side, Fulham scored goals for fun I mean teams scored goals against Fulham for fun. Cardiff were honestly unlucky to go down. I think VAR might have kept them up instead of Brighton. Some shocking decisions against them.

All of them lost their first match in the Championship. Derby didn't have a tough time with Huddersfield (Tom Lawrence looked great in that match). Huddersfield are on their 3rd ex-Klopp-Dortmund coach I believe and still look awful.

Absolutely not. I'd probably only manage to tell you 15 of the 20 clubs in the league. Shows how shite half the league is.

Remembered Fulham easily enough as they were one that I expected would stay up.

Cardiff and Huddersfield took a bit of time to remember.

Ha, exact same thing happening to me at the weekend. I could not remember the third team (Huddersfield) that went down. Think its just old age though to be honest

Cardiff and Huddersfield and Fulham. Wont ever forget the fact we dropped 4 points out of 6 in our last 2 games to the first two.

I remember Fulham because I predicted they would have a comfortable mid table finish and I was slightly off with my prediction.

Fulham are memorable for the fact they spent £100m on 10+ players only to get relegated
And Huddersfield only got 16 points (6 points were against Wolves.............and they managed to get a 1-1 draw with us:houllier:)

I remember them well:
-Cardiff: no welsh teams in the PL.
-Fulham: bitter unexpected expensive failure.
-Huddersfield: bullied team not good enough for the Prem.

Yes but other seasons I wouldn't.

We lost to Cardiff and drew away at Huddersfield at the end of the season both were already relegated. It's still fresh in my mind as is the Everton 4-0 loss.

They were probably the 3 worst relegated teams ever.

Expected the top 2, although Warnock did better than I thought.

The signings and amount of money Fulham spent, led me to believe they would be fine. As it was, they bought too many players and struggled to find the right balance.

Villa have taken a similar approach so it will be interesting to see how they get on in the upcoming season.

They were so unremarkable (beyond just how bad Huddersfield's season was) that they are irrelevant.

Huddersfield got lucky coming up.
Fulham were them back in 2001 but managed to stay for a fair few years but then times have changed.
Cardiff and Neil Warnock are a joke.

Oh and our season ending was abysmal and it's okay to mentally check out, the players fecking did after Paris.

Yes, but I don't remember a single one from the season before that.

EDIT: I just looked and it was Swansea, Stoke and West Brom. Did anybody remember that?

It's hard to forget really. Drawing 1-1 to Huddersfield, whilst still hoping for CL. Then losing at home 0-2 to a relegated hopeless Cardiff in the final game of the season. I remember Fulham, because they spent +100m to stay in the division.

Yes.

Weird thing is that I remember not being able to remember all the teams who got relegated the season before at about this time last year, or perhaps a little bit later. I specifically remember not being able to remember Stoke and having to Google it, and now I wouldn't be able to tell you who the other teams were apart from them.
