Aguero or Aubameyang?

I can save an extra 1m on Aubameyang to use elsewhere but Aguero. Both got 201/205 points last season. Both very close.
Aguero hasen’t played in pre-season, I doubt he will start this weekend. Auba has looked really good in pre-season from what I have gathered. Start with Auba and then see. Otherwise, Kane? I wouldn’t go two premium attackers.

I'm torn between TAA and Robertson. Have VVD as my second Pool def.

TAA had a better points per game last season. Apparently more likely to get rotated though. However people see Robertson as the more attacking. So feck knows.
TAA has apparantly been woeful in pre-season from what I read from L’pool fans. I am going Robertson.

I would maybe try to sneak Aubameyang in that team instead of Firmino. Don't know how though.

0.5 in the bank as a safety net incase early changes are needed.

Thoughts?
Might be the best side I've seen to be fair

Not sure about Perez even at £6.5M - with Maddison, Praet, Barnes and Gray etc he's far from a guaranteed starter. I don't think he'll get as many points as last year.

I've seen a lot of people with a really strong eleven but an absolute shambles on the bench.. I've always gone for cheap players who are definite starters for mine. Does it matter?

What do you reckon? Got 0.5 mil left and Greenwood on the bench. Dangerous to go with 1 up top?

I currently have Ayew as my shit CF. Considering swapping him for Greenwood and upgrading elsewhere. From what Ole said this morning seems that he'll see a fair bit of game time, but will probably be hard to predict when he'll be a starter.
Any thoughts?

EDIT:

A Perez + Ayew OR
Greenwood + Martial

Have a bad feeling Utd may struggle for goals, so not sure I want two Utd forwards.......

I hope you don't mean Greenwood as the only striker? I think it'll mostly be minutes from the bench.

Team atm is:
Pope
Digne, Roberston, Zinchenko
Fraser, Perez, Salah, Sterling
King, Jiminez, Ayew

Subs:
Henderson, Aarons, Lundstrom, Barkley

Only putting Barkley on the bench for GW1 as (hopefully!) Chelsea won't do too well this weekend, will be adding Barkley to the midfield more often than not.

Just wondering if Martial & Greenwood is preferable to Ayew & Perez. I think Ayew will start for Palace, but I expect them to struggle quite badly this year.

Pickford(Button)
AWB/Robertson/Digne (Rico/Lundstrom)
Eriksen/Bilva/Siggy/Perez (Dendoncker)
Auba/Wilson/Vardy

Playing 3-4-3

Thoughts?

Ayew is pointless so if use the funds elsewhere and get greenwood for 4.5, yeah. I'd probably use it to upgrade Digne to VVD/Laporte though instead of Perez to Martial.

Don't Liverpool have a much easier set of fixtures than City for the opening parts of the season? Salah > Sterling?

Got burnt with Martial last season. Even during Utds good patch he only shone for a game or two.

Martial seemed to play as the 9 quite a few times in pre season, one to watch

You shouldn't bother playing if you're unable to remove the United blinkers. Having zero players from the best team in the league is insane.
bit harsh. The problem I have with their players is the rotation and it messed me around a bit last year.

I picked Salah over Sterling as I think he'll get more games. AWB and Zynchenko were much of a muchness in terms of price but AWB should play every game when fit.

I didn't think I could afford KDB but will throw him in if he's back to his best and Kane was better value imo than Aguero.

My bench is nonsense at the moment but Greenwood is a free hit at 4.5 with the way Ole's been talking him up.

Do you have any actual feedback?

Yeah i've got 1.5 in the bank so i'll probably pick Mane over Salah because I find him more consistent WoW. So for now I trust Eriksen to get a few points against Villa, and when Mane is fully reintegrated i'll swap Eriksen (& probably Siggy) for Mane & someone like F.Anderson.
Also I think City have a tough opening set of fixtures until GW3/4, I can swap Auba for Aguero around then too.

I wasn't being snarky, sorry if it came across that way. Rotation is a risk, with some players more than others but there are at least a handful of nailed players for City and another 2/3 that will play 85% plus of games. I just think not having any player from the side that will likely score the most goals and keep the most clean sheets is fpl suicide.

Mines similar but I've gone for Martial/Greenwood over Ayew/Perez, everyone seems to be going mad for Perez but as a few have pointed out, he may get rotated, and Martial should start every game when fit.

Just noticed that Everton have some piss easy fixtures to start with (first 6 weeks). Think I'll get Sigurdsson and Kean and then look to move them out. A bit risky, given the number of new players they have, but they definitely have it easier than others to begin with.

Traded in TAA for VVD, with an extra £0.5m ITB who's the best £4.5m defender available? I'm thinking of Cathcart

Edit: Also looking at Dunk and Diop

I wouldn't start the season with Aguero as he hasn't played in pre-season, I'd trade him and Tielemans in for King and Sterling maybe? Leno's a gamble too given that Arsenal are running with Luiz and Mustafi

Anyone ever tried a 3-5-2? I am not sure how this will work.

Certainly not terrible. Could pay off having players that not many others have.

Most have shied away from the big hitter strikers, or only have one this time. There's more bang for your buck in midfield and especially defence. Could pay off though.

Yours is the first team I've seen with Aguero in, which is quite mad.
Pogba also isn't in any teams I've seen. He may have a great start, and you'd expect some goals to come through him. Think I'd rather play it safe and go with Siggy for 0.5 less though, specially with their fixtures, just in case Pogba starts in his cba mode.
