I believe they are playing this match on Thursday 28th july at Ewen Fields Hyde.
Kick off at 7:45pm

Anyone got anymore info on it?

Thursday 27th July more like it MUM. It's on the Hyde website, I can't find anything on the United pages though. Work is a bit chockablock right now for me, with me having a week off sick last week. So I don't know if I'll be able to make this game. If I can I will.

Is it possible that Ole might be playing in this one? Strange he and a few others didn't travel to Celtic

According to Tribal Bollucks site,Ruud is being lined up to play if he hasn't signed for Real madrid.

I can't see it myself because they wouldn't risk him in such a low profile game.

Hope it's true though...........:D

Anyone know what players will be playing? will it be similar to the reserve side of last year and will some of the likes of jones, martin, etc who played a park at celtic play?

Didn't finish work till around 7.30 MUM, but given the state of the weather of late, what was it like at Ewan Field tonight?? Was it hot vimto or soup weather?? It wouldn't suprise me you know.

Who was there tonight? Who was managing the side? Paul or Choccy?

Choccy was managing things tonight.

The 3 goals were scored by Michael "Ginger" Barnes.........at least ,I know for deffo that the first 2 were but I couldn't actually see who scored the 3rd and as you know, the tannoy leaves a lot to be desired at Ewen Fields....but they all ran over to Barnsey so I assume he scored it. ;)

Kieran Lee looked good as did Jamie Mullen.
Ryan Shawcross looked very assured,too.

I had a cold drink tonight.................it was lovely and warm at Ewen Fields........for a change.

Oh ,and a lad ran on the pitch,ran the full length of the pitch and scored...then took his shirt off and swung it round his head and the ran off.....

it seems like every team loves to play their keeper as an outfield player in the pre-season.

the scousers put Reyna in midfield yesterday against K'slautern, and almost scored, too:lol:
