Looking forward to this, he’ll be levels above every single pundit on there for knowledge. As for the Jose hate on here, grow up, if he retired today he goes down as a top 3 manager of all time easily

I hated him as our manager but he's a brilliant pundit, fantastic insight and really is passionate about the game. It'll be interesting to see his take on United-Chelsea.

He'll likely be fine, so long as they don't act like a god has deigned to talk to them (as BeIN did).

Be interesting to see who he’s in the studio with, plenty of pundits were critical of his style last year.

Richard keys and Grey talked lot of crap about jose but said absolutely nothing when he was on. Same thing will happen here, no one will say anything, just ass kissing etc.....

This is interesting - I wonder, has he got some sort of NDA to avoid giving away too much about the club? Are managers usually given a redundancy with terms of keeping their mouths shut?
Yeah, he certainly has some kind of NDA when he has been payed off. In what extent, nobody knows, but he probably can't revail much of internal bussines while he was at the club.

Tbh, I don't give a flying feck what he has to say. Had enough of his behavior when he was here and giving up in that 3rd season just waiting for a payday.

Skysports posting highlights of PL games  love it. Nice knowing you Match of the Day but our time is over.

Match of the day is going nowhere mate - just showing highlights is very different to that

Is his coaching career over? No takers of JM after he was sacked by United? He is past it.

That's a pretty bold claim tbh.

He's amongst the best but I wouldn't put him in top 3.

Yeah, Mourinho will be among the greats but Top 3 is a stretch because he is barely Top 3 in the PL alone with SAF and Paisley clearly above.

Nah, France and Germany are one horse races. I am ready to bet that Jose won't be managing PSG, Bayern or Dortmund too.
He said he’ll work in one of the top five leagues next. I wouldn’t bet against that.

Sir Alex Ferguson, Brian Clough, Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola, Johan Cruyff, Bill Shankly? Not very easy to put him in the top 3 imo. Sure, how many titles you win is an indicator of how good a manager you are, but the true greats of the game changed the landscape of football completely. Johan Cruyff and "total football", Brian Clough won the first division with Derby County etc. I'd place Sir Alex Ferguson and Brian Clough comfortably ahead of him, with Jose somewhere between 3rd and 7th.

I think he's probably waiting around for Zidane's inevitable mid-season sacking at Madrid. Trying to keep his profile high in the meantime.

Possible,Ed's not in the good books with fans due to transfer dealings so Jose might stick his oar in.
Rightfully so. However, I don’t think he’d comment much, they are there for the match.

He can be quite likeable when there is no competition involved so this should be okay.

Yup, one's gotta be a huge Mourinho homer to have him listed in the top 3.

He’s absolutely nailed on to make some snide comment about signing Maguire today isn’t he?

Completely overlooking the fact of course that the main reason we didn’t get Maguire a year is because the board no longer trusted Jose and just didn’t have the stones to sack him.

Of course not. He’ll be coaching Madrid within 12 months is my bet.
Why do people keep saying this? Madrid overlooked him already and took Zidane when they were both available. This is a fantasy dream for Mourinho. There is no indication anyone wants him except for China.

I wouldn't say that you have to be a huge homer but someone like Trappatoni is in my opinion above him and then you have legends like Rinus Michel, Sir Matt Busby, Udo Lattek or Ernst Happel. He is in good company though.

Of course they went with Zidane, the man had just won three Champions League trophies in a row. If anything he looked odds on joining Real until ZZ made an incredible u-turn.
