I have some hope for Fred left, but really no hope for the other two.

Matic might play well once in a while, but he's too slow.

Not sure why everyone is so down on Matic. Seems like another case of player got injured, came back, wasn't ready, Caf decides they're finished.

I would much rather see McT, Matic and Pogba as 10, than what we saw on Saturday. Pereira is pretty useless.

I think Fred still has a lot of potential to be good. Sanchez is finished though. 18 months of pure dross. Maybe 1 good game in his United career.

He needs a walker to get around the pitch mate

I think Fred can be a success, there's a great player in there. Pep wouldn't have went for him otherwise.

People saying Matic is done...he never had any pace! If there's a place for Mata in the team, there is for Matic aswell.

The jury is still out on Fred, we'll have a better assessment of him as this season unfolds.

Sanchez looked good at the Copa America. Certainly better than before.

I still wish that Fred will become our Fernandinho and that Sanchez will contribute with 10-12 goals this season but let's be realistic, what are the chances?

Sanchez was once a great player but he gave everything he had for Arsenal and it costed him his phisicality. He is not explosive anymore and he seems very much injury prone. I feel bad that United will always be a stain on his career.

Fred - oh boy. I get the idea why he was brought but for that amount of money...after a full season with us we still don't know what he is, CDM, b2b, creative MF? Personally, I never saw anything in him that would tell me that he is a player for United. He should be given one more chance, just for the sake of his pricetag. If he don't make a most of it than sell him for whatever we can get.

Matic is done. He wasn't fast even in his prime and now he just drags on the field. We should've sell him and get Gueye. He is not the spring chicken but he could still give us 2 or 3 good seasons.

I hope that at least Fred will prove me wrong.

Gueye moved to Psg this summer.

Doucoure would be decent for us!

Players like McTominey have spoken about how Matic has helped them... and in our all-conquering run when Ole first got the job, he and Herrera were incredible... and then they both got injured.

SAF used to say that Carrick was never quite right until November. I think Matic, with managed game time, still has plenty to offer.

Fred has rarely looked good enough to play for us, and I have my concerns he never will be. He's not brilliant at anything, and seems to struggle with some fairly basic aspects of his role. No need to sell, because we'd probably lose more than £30m on him... but I only see his value in the fact we don't have many other options.

Sanchez needs to leave. He just seems sad & embarrassed. I can see him scoring goals again in another league, but I just can't see what he offers us in the Premier League.

It’s strange to read about Matic getting back his form. It’s not about form, but rather an ability to move around the pitch - can’t be gotten back if lost.

Alexis, if fit, can easily slot in Lingard’s position an run pretty much the same - and he has a better shot.

We need Fred to come good this season. McT isn't really good enough, maybe in the future, but he shouldn't be a nailed starter at this point. We're going to need both Fred and Matic to contribute. More gametime from Fred and less for Matic.

He's far more effective than Matic in this system though purely for the fact he can run at above average pace and isn't entering his twilight years. Ole's system is stripping football back to it's basics - we're developing into a pressing team that will sit in and counter and that seems about it so far. Matic doesn't suit that system, he can't press for 45mins let alone 90mins.

I think we can definitely upgrade on Pereira but for now I think he's the best option there. Pogba would not do the work he does which is important because, as Chelsea proved, it's not super difficult to play through us once we lose the ball.

According to MEN (not that its a reliable source) Matic might be released after the season. If they think he is that far gone, I don't know why they haven't bought a replacement already.

We paid £52M for Fred, we really have to give it another go with him. Can't afford to write that off at this point. Also with how thin we now are in the middle, he has a great opportunity to step up and finally contribute.

Precisely because our midfield was Pogba, Pereira and McT. I'd rather see Fred or Matic in that 3. Especially in games against rivals. He might be an OK no10 against relegation fodder but he's never shown anything really apart from that worldy last season.
