So Contrapoints just got cancelled by the twitter mob. Deleted her account after a pile on over something to do with pronouns. I mean, come on. What the feck is up with leftie twitter these days? They’d start a row in an empty room.
Really? Contrapoints seemed liked the last person, over zealous folks in cancel culture and uber PC crowd would target. But people on SM always seem to be racing towards being the most offended by any real or perceived mistake/slight by anyone. Attacking someone on their side of the spectrum gives you even more credence.

The sad part is that it's mostly a very small portion of people who do this and the even sadder part is that they are successful with it. I remember Carola Rackete getting shit on Twitter for cultural appropriation. They gave a person who risked going to jail to save people fleeing from Africa grief over her hair style. You will always find a couple of nutters who take offense with anything, they need that and the best thing to do is to ignore these people.
I just looked at contra's patreon and there's been no loss of subscribers beyond the usual end-of-month bleed-off, you can zoom out a few months and see a steady upward trend that's continuing.

It’s a cesspit but it’s important way for people who produce any kind of media to publicise their work. And if someone gets bullied on there to the extent they delete their account then there are real world consequences.
And that’s not even getting into ass-hats who drag employers into the pile-on to try and get people sacked.
