England have so many established and promising right backs you can make an XI of them.

-------------Walker-Peters---------
Walker-Wan Bissaka-Trippier-TAA
---Aarons---Maitland-Niles--James
---Bogle-------Sessegnon-----Laird

6 are starters at top level sides

Walker - Man City
Walker-Peters - Spurs
Wan-Bissaka - Man Utd
Trippier - Atletico Madrid
Alexander-Arnold - Liverpool
Maitland-Niles - Arsenal

2 are very highly rated and are looking to make a name for themselves in the Premier League this season.

Aarons (19) - Norwich
James (19) - Chelsea

Bogle (19) had a great season in the Championship last year for Derby.

Sessegnon (19) got his full league debut for Fulham yesterday.

Laird (18) is an excellent young player in United's u23s

Yes. I have too much time on my hands.

Can we make an England team of right wingers? Then find 11 reasons we can’t buy one of them

I'm surprised nobody took the gamble on Bogle. Seems like a clear talent to me. Ended up the season with better stats than Aarons.

Yeah got his first assist of the season already too. Still he's only 19 so I think he's fine at Derby for another season, possibly best off there. They should mount their annual promotion attempt.

Wan Bissaka, Arnold-Alexander and Walker are certainly going to have one hell of a tussle for position in the next few years.

Walker was used in the centre back role at he world cup, but the other two are going to be hard to decide between, unless we use WB in that Walker role, or use AA as a midfielder.

Agreed. It's mind-bogleing.

Looking forward to watching Trippier at Atletico Madrid. Guess with his age there's the feeling he peaked at WC but we all know Atletico strength is defensively so a good season for him at that level and England will give him a recall.

TAA will have the position sewn up surely - would love AWB getting it but we shall see

TAA is in a class of his own as an attacking English fullback. The RB position is his

I personally think it's a great problem for England having both AWB and TAA fighting for the RB position. Could use AWB if you're wanting a more solid RB or TAA if you want a threat going forward

I’m expecting Kyle Walker to be out of the City and England team before the next Euros.

He could well prove me wrong, but Alexander-Arnold and Wan-Bissaka will start to get the nod at right back. A return to form for Trippier would put him back in the running, too.

I think this (and Chilwell being good going forward but bad defensively) will lead to England playing a back 3/5.

-------Sterling--Kane---------------------
--------------------------Sancho------------
Chilwell--Winks--Rice---AlexanderArnold
-----Gomez-Maguire-WanBissaka-------

I think that's currently what I'd be looking for as my Euro 2020 lineup if I were Southgate. The front 3 picks itself but the midfield options are kind of weak and this way you get another genuinely good player into the team in Wan-Bissaka (and a full season of him playing next to Maguire, or Gomez next to Arnold also good if it ends up that way at RCB) and you free up Alexander-Arnold to focus on getting forward and looking to hit Kane's head or Sterling at the back post. Sancho can then come inside more with Alexander-Arnold providing width, and sort of be the #10 creatively speaking, he's better than Maddison, Barkley and Dele Alli and the other pretty good #10s he's competing against anyways.

Maitland - Niles is a great midfield pairing

Few of them should turn into RWs and solve some of the problems

First of all great thread :D

Kenny plays for Schalke......and Livramento (Chelsea/16) & Matheson (Rochdale/16) are massive talents.
Reece James might even displace our captain Azpi soon
Hopefully :)
