Huge fan of him from the few games I saw of Norwich in the championship. Also thought he looked really good against Liverpool.
He's terrific. I'm surprised there wasn't more interest in him last window.

You can always bank on opposition strikers to miss an open goal vs bin dippers, annoying bastards.

I have to keep reminding myself that Alisson did something stupid like that against Leicester last season.

That’s so inexplicable.

Why would Liverpool have a great attack and defence but have a rank avarage midfield?

I still think Liverpool are clearly second best team in the league but there are some worrying signs for them which were noticeably absent last season.

Tried to fix it with Keita but he's been a huge flop .. and then I don't think they wanted to give up on him this summer, buy then he went and got injured before the season started.

Had Keita been a success, on paper Fabinho/Keita/Wijnaldum would be a pretty good midfield.

Reminiscent of what Liverpool fans said about us under Fergie. They scored a good goal and Southampton didn't copitalise on the better half they had, why does that make them lucky? It makes Southampton shite at scoring tbh
Looks like they’re riding the same streak of luck from last season to me. Decisions definitely going their way add to that teams not taking their chances and it all adds up. One or two games you can say fair enough but a whole season? Then into the next one? It’s quite comical really. They “hold out” for another undeserved win, fair play to em I guess.

Shelvey scored to make it 3-1. Great outside of the boot pass from Longstaff.
