He will be deep bench for me anyway. Will only use him when they have an easy home game initially - always like a forward who is treated as a midfielder. I will probably put Ceballos ahead of him too.

Martial, De Bruyne and Sigurdsson will start and I will mostly go with three strikers with Rashford, Aubameyang and Barnes.

There aren’t really many good midfielders in the £6.0m price range. And below £5.5m you can’t really get anything worthwhile. Or is Dendoncker worth a try? Will he consistently play for Wolves and what’s his role?

I can get Grealish for that price but don’t feel that good about him either.

Ndombele has had a good start and hes only 6.1 at the moment. But I've not watched Spurs play yet, if hes involved in the build up play high up the pitch there might be some longevity to his pts.

I think him and Ceballos could be a bit like Ruben Neves last year. Got high scores early so a lot of people jumped on him but he was never consistently scoring.

Ceballos seems to be taking corners though, and started yesterday as the No.10.

Putting lundstrum in your team is almost cheating. Everyone should have him. 4.0 defender and plays midfield. Hopefully his price raises quickly, but I doubt it will because of the percentage of people who will have him in his team. He is my first sub, so he comes on for my Bournemouth defender

I got him yesterday. It’s also possible they will get a few clean sheets this season, especially at home, as they appear quite solid.

Van Dijk / Laporte / Wan-Bissaka / Walker-Peters / Lundstram
De Bruyne / Sigurdsson / Martial / Ceballos / Robinson
Barnes / Rashford / Aubameyang

One guaranteed high scorer (Aubameyang), one guaranteed mid-level scorer (Sigurdssong), three offensive players with high potential (De Bruyne, Rashford, Martial), three very solid defenders and a top goalkeeper + a number of players with some good upside.

I think this is me finished. £0.5m in the bank for future flexibility.

Yeah and he’s also only £5.5m and should have a consistent game time for a team that will probably knock 60+ goals this season. Good value.

It's a shame Abraham isn't playing for Chelsea.

Does it look like Soyuncu is now first choice CB at Leicester? A bargain at 4.5 if so.

Do we also expect Emerson to be first choice over Alonso as of now?

Moise Kean has been a waste of space. You'd think Everton will try to integrate him quickly rather than 10-20 minutes cameo.

Should have picked some of Everton's defenders instead with the easier fixtures.

I think I'll get Lundstram in. I didn't realise how cheap he is, combined with being a 'defender' playing so advanced.

Kane, Jimenez, Greenwood


Thinking of putting in Lundstram for Diop or Lascelles. Used my FT last week to bring Adrian in so only have one.

Should I WC out Greenwood and Walker-Peters to try and get Pukki in with Lundstram and another cheap defender? Or hold firm and just take out one of Lascelles/Diop and wait to see what develops?

Would expect so. Alonso has been on the bench for them.

I'd take out Lascelles. That Newcastle defense looks ropey

So a few potentials to sort. Which looks most key? Have two transfers.

Double expensive Liverpool not bringing defensive points

Perez 6.5
Sheff utd robinson 5.5

Double bournemouth attack now v man city

Greenwood taking up a united space.


United play palace and Southampton next two game weeks so thinking rashford or wan bissaka would help to top up Maguire/martial.

Thought I was being clever banging Robinson in over Lundstram (he’s on my bench). FPL is a harsh mistress.

Team is currently:

Pickford (Heaton)

Digne - van Dijk - Robertson - Zinchenko (Lundstram)

Sterling - B.Silva - Mane - Robinson (Dendoncker)

Pukki - King (Greenwood)

Used my free transfer to swap Salah out for Mane, which gives me enough to swap B.Silva for Son (2mil in the bank).

Now the question is do we take a cheeky -4pts... Fresh Son vs a shocking Newcastle at Lane Nou is incredibly tempting.

I’ve had Salah as captain last two weeks but feel he’s too expensive to be getting so few points. If I transfer him out I just know he will start firing and then he too expensive to get back in

Awful gameweek as expected.

Need Martial to do some bits to save it for me. Not looking at breaking 40 at this stage.

I have two free transfers this week. Looking to do some tinkering. Sterling is a must now. If I don’t see a feasible way of getting a good team with both Salah and Sterling in, I feel as if I’ll sack off the former for maybe a cheaper alternative like Mane.

Maddison has been involved in almost everything for Leicester. Definitely worth a think.

Might put him down to a 4.5m, and try and work Wilson-King-Greenwood to get Rashford in somehow (having my 3 united already)

Must be quite easily possible! Others even have Kane on top.

His price will drop down to 6.4 in the next couple of days.

I’m thinking of going for someone cheaper (possibly Ceballos for 5.5?), to then use the extra to upgrade B.Silva to De Bruyne.

There isn’t many great options in midfield between 5.0 - 6.5.

Yes! Barkley that cnut didn't play! Shocker was he didn't play the full game against Liverpool... I was sure he'd come on!

Once Lord Lundstram subs in, I suddenly go from 37 with AWB to play to 51! And no one else in my league has him except one guy who'll end up near the bottom any way :D
